Just had to let you know, last night I prayed to God to know and understand what the difference was between the Soul and the Spirit was. And I found this video this morning and I was not looking for it. WOW He answered my prayers! All glory to GOD!

And Catholics have their beliefs all twisted, they place mother Mary above Jesus and give her more gratitude and praise then Jesus, it shouldn't even be considered Christianity.

@Keith Harrison You need to finish reading (v 28). He was asking why the Canaanite woman would come to Him (a Jew) for help since Jews and Gentiles didn't mix in that society. When she responded that even Gentiles should eat from the Lord's table He stated "O woman, great is thy faith, let it be thee as thou wilt". Also, look at John 4:7-13. He would not say that to the Samaritan woman if He was only here for Jews. Many other examples that show you are in error.
I have been praying for years. Asking God to show me my path. I still don't know fully, but years ago I had an amazing urge to preach the word of God and become a colporter! But I obviously wasn't ready. But Daniel has helped me realise what I need to do. I still pray for the Lord to show me, as I need to study the bible more often.

I was born in a christian family so I inherited Christianity from my parents. I'm 24 year old now. I decided to received Jesus Christ as my saviour again (July 2020). I consider myself as a new Christian regardless of the past 24 years I spent as a Christian. This enabled me to start from Zero & seek God on my own. I learned a lot from the video. The important thing to know is whether Jesus recieves you and recognizes you as among his flock to be saved by HIM come Judgement Day. It is blasphemous to say You Recieved Jesus as your personal Saviour as if you had a choice or alternative. No one comes to the Father unless thru Him. -- Check your faith..you might be decieved.

It is not quite correct specially the New Testament concept of what soul is. Humans have 2 parts not 3, the soul in the New Testament is our mind, emotions, and will, which are a result of the spirit given by God to us and the body or more specifically, our brain.
Onelove I watched it, 2:18 he says that we are body, soul, and spirit, and he says like the Trinity, no where in the scriptures this is defined as true. The spirit and the body are the only two components of a person defined in the Old Testament, now what it is translated as soul is actually the Psyche, this is our mind, emotions, and will, but this is not like the spirit, this appears by the interaction of the spirit and the brain. When someone dies like Ecclesiastes say, the body returns to the ground and the spirit returns to God who gave it, there is no soul in there, as soon as someone dies, that person’s mental capacities, end.
Christ follower : what you are explaining is same thing the narrator explained. He says body is physical aspect we see and use to interact with environment and other people. He says our soul is our psyche, emotions etc. And that the spirit is what interacts with God when we pray, meditate or filled with power of Holy Spirit . The part of trinity is simply comparison he makes that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit which coincides with man having body, soul and spirit.
For the moment ... my English isn't enough to understand on topics like this ... just simple tv series. But the main thing is I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Greetings from Perù.

Thank you. There was never an intention, not even an iota of a doubt, to "tear anybody down". I just "completed" the vision or the understanding that ALL of us must also be doers of the Word of God and not simply accept Him as our Savior. Suggestion: Please read Matthew 25:31-46. Thank you.
Actually, spiritual maturity is not dependant on age necessarily. God also anoints teachers HE chooses as per HIS will. Ephesians Chapter 4:11 onwards.

I remember the very day, when the Holy Spirit moved into me. (At salvation) I’ll never forget it! It rocked my world. I cried like a baby. I didn’t understand it at first, but later the Lord said to me. What happens when a baby is born? I said it cries. He said you have been born again!
Did you all speak in another tongue. If you did, you were filled with the Holy Spirit. If not, please seek the LORD for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. You must repent and then worship. It’s when you are worshipping from the heart it happens. You begin to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gives you utterance. See Acts 2:1-4., Acts 19:1-6, (note vs 6), Acts 10:44-47 (note vs 46-47).

No matter how good or bad a person is, their body returns to the ground. No matter how good or bad you are, your spirit (lifeforce) returns to Him who gave it. Your soul is what determines if you're joined with your spirit in Life, or your flesh in death. We are born spiritually empty like a cup, the same as the earth was void before He formed its beauty. Do not let His Spirit return to Him void; and let your cup be filled with His Spirit till it runs over. Messiah is the True Vine and You are the fruit of that vine, hence - you are the cup He will drink from, just as we drink from His cup daily.

Praise the Lord! Truly the Lord has blessed you with effective communication is pure simplicity that even babes can understand. I’ve heard so many different ways explained and it never sunk in. I am a backslider who has learned first hand, that it’s impossible to be fulfilled with anything from this world. Materialism, finances, adultery, etc. And also feeding the wicked emotions like, ANGER becoming violence, DEPRESSION becoming thoughts of suicide, and LUST becoming physical and mental obsession. None of it restores or fulfills. HOW COULD THEY? Thank you brother for your word for feeding the hungry with enriching life. May our Lord God bless you, and grant you peace for all your days.

Please belive the words of Jesus Christ when he speaks to Nicodemus about baptism being immersed in the water to wash off all sins and when you rise up you are ready to receive the holy spirit of God just as Jesus did in the Jordan river. I have been trying to "feel" the "Spirit" it in my soul!! NOW I understand - THANK YOU!! This was a huge missing piece for me. I was so worried that I couldn't "feel" it, which was causing my faith to be rocked. But with your explanation made things a LOT clearer

Our spirit is the spirit of Man created by God. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, God gives you His Holy Spirit who witnesses to your spirit that you are a son/daughter of God. That's being "born again". Your spirit is also regenerated from separation from God (during Adam's fall). Galatians 4:6; Romans 8:16

Being born again does not equate salvation. One has to be a doer. Faith without works is dead, James 2:24-26. Salvation is an ongoing process. One has to be perfect for God is perfect. Only God knows who'll go to heaven/eternal life. Nobody & nobody knows for sure of one's salvation, so, "once saved is always saved" is not applicable; a man-made doctrine, false teaching= no salvation but damnation to hell.
