My best friend who died last year came to me in a dream. It was like no dream I have ever had. My friend felt solid when he hugged me. It felt so real and so loving. He told me he was not dead where he was, and I must not worry.

Awe inspiring. It happened to my grandfather who had been an atheist for 80 years. It can happen to anyone. I know it's real.

“We’re not separate Beings. ...we are all connected “. It sounds like a simple thought but, oh! how profound it truly is!

My mother had passed away a first time and came back. She described what she felt 'God is pure love.' I asked her about Jesus. She said 'he really did come to earth and died on the cross for us.' I did not ask her any more questions on the subject, but wish I had now. My mom has now passed and in 2003. I know 2 other people that died and came back. Though what they told me is limited, all three had said the same thing this lady said 'God is pure love.'

Death is just another part of the journey. Society has people afraid of death like its a very scary thing. We die a bit every day. Death is easy. Its living that's hard.

I was praying to Jesus one evening when there was a flash in my quiet room. It last a second I feared it was an explosion but I felt that million times LOVE. It was a glimpse into Heaven. 😊😇😔😁😉

I am agnostic, which is to say I have no belief in organized religion. However, since my parents have passed away whom I was very close with, I have changed my belief, and all I can say is I guess I am now a spiritualist, for lack of any other term to describe my feelings. I hope i can reunite with my mother when I die I really miss her we were very close, she was on disability as am I so I took care of her for the past 6 years when her health really declined I hope she's somewhere far better than here.

It makes me think though why some people in the comments keep focusing on the small details, about religion or Jesus or whatever. God is bigger than just a name, a word. I wasn't ill or anything but in 1979 i was out of my body and actually could see me asleep in bed and i could in that state see in the dark even though it was still dark ..odd but true.

life beyond the death of the body is certain and we are very fortunate that God allows people to come back and enlighten us with a small glimpse of what lye's beyond this plain of our existence.

During a emergency c section in 1986 the epidural did not take and neither did whatever they were doing to my body because I could feel extreme pain I was trying to scream within side of myself for help no one can hear me and then I just popped out of my body and hovered over myself I was never afraid I was so glad to be out of pain and I watched the doctors talk to me and work on me, I did not want to go back into my body because my baby was going to be adopted and it tore me apart there was no reason for me to want to remain in that heavy horrible pain.but before I knew it,there I was,back in my heavy bucky broken body. I now can since death I could smell it and I know when it's near and I know when someone's going to die I came back with a knowledge of anger yet peace and understanding that the flesh and Bone means nothing and your spirit is very alive when it leaves your body. 💜

Just found this. Beautiful Barbara (just met you at Findhorn). NO matter how much times passes, (after an NDE), they are revisited in the same intensity every time. To me it is like trauma, when you revisit,, your breath sops, the agony is relived in the same way... like these emotions are carved deep into your soul?

I had a N.D.E. myself back in 1996 when I was struck by a drunk driver and blew my femur out which tore the main artery and evacuated my blood system completely several times in route to the hospital. The first experience was during the life flight and I watched the chopper circle the landing zone, later after several surgeries I had another one that was much like the experience that she spoke about. Now, being a scientific minded person I searched carefully for reasonable explanations for what I had witnessed and that journey lead me to investigate my faith for some answers. After many years of this I was forced to realize that nobody honestly knows anything regarding an afterlife and the only thing we have to support it are claims made by people such as myself that suffered horrible trauma and what we imagined that we experienced. There have been careful studies conducted around the world and there are notes often placed on top of the lights in operating rooms so that when someone claims that they witnessed their operation from above they should be able to say what the note said and nobody ever has. We all want to believe that we will get to see our loved ones again someday and nobody wants to die but the universe is a wonderful place and we should do the best that we can to make sure that our future generations have an opportunity to experience it even better than we have. Religious belief draws a line in the sand and the human race needs to step across that line to move beyond unsupported beliefs and embrace reality.

I am totally fascinated,in awe and so touched by these unbelievable stories of NDE. How sad that they are actually experiencing death but in a beautiful way & most importantly being 'Allowed' to remember it all...Wonderful

this is not a classic NDE but more involuntary astral projection. This is because both times she did not die but passed out. If you study astral projection, her experience is similar. voluntary astral projection can cause meeting with evil entities, and involuntary is usually a pleasant experience.

During childbirth, I experienced out of body event. I was floating above the hospital bed, looking down at the medical professionals assisting in a difficult delivery. At no time did I see light or darkness, other 'beings' or intense feelings of any sort. I returned to my body with a jarring jolt. It wasnt a decision I made or was suggested to return by others. Those in the room said they witnessed me 'faint'. I expect that during uncontrolled stress and pain, my body and mind checked out as no 'near death episode' registered on any gauges, tests, eyewitness or hospital records.

i had nde i went to hell n Jesus saved me an let me come back i had ptsd frm it but soon after icried out to Jesus for help and he saved me and showed me his love n what he did on cross he healed me of ptsd thankyou for sharing thats amazing ndes can b very traumatic

it's the "circle bed lady!" hahaha!...at first i was like, wow! what are the odds (even though i don't literally believe in odds anymore)??..that 2 NDE'ers would have both had circle bed experiences?? then, the longer she talked, i realized it was the same woman whose testimony i'd heard, from at least 30 years later!..it's Barbara Harris Whitfield..first time i saw her was here, on the NewHeaven NewEarth channel..and she's a therapist now (not sure if she already was one was when this earlier interview was filmed)...but it's interesting to hear a few more 'random' details about her experience..i've noticed how interesting it can be to hear different interviews with some of the same people..it really can be worth it sometimes..because there isn't always an allowance for the *same amount* of time..and certain details can come to the fore of an interviewee's mind more than - or even over - certain other memories, depending on the path a conversation takes...and *also,* sometimes people keep close to their hearts, the juciest of details, for various reasons of their own... only to later come to a new understanding - and then they become comfortable enough to update their reporting with those nuggets they had previously protected..and sometimes, even only *one* thing an experiencer shares, opens up whole new dimensions of understanding for someone witnessing the interview..and that, imho, is one of the greatest gifts of being able to hear the NDE testimonies of others. 😇

This wonderful lady just open a great wakeup call. No wonder why some experience some NDE as a hell & fire.When a guy experience's such a state of heaven in between life's & journey & the pops back into this physical mondaness of existence. That's got to be hell leaving paradise

I dont know why everyone is arguing over the matter. So she didnt mention God. Its still okay, the type of joy and love she felt during the given circumstances is still mentioned in the bible. And lets face it, some people here will elevate the argument from "no afterlife" to "afterlife without God". From day dot, there have been those who have faith and those who do not. The day this world ends we will find that this hasnt changed. Just agree to disagree already.

Throughout most of my life I have questioned if not fought against the possibility of an afterlife, the almost unbelievable and impracticable statements and claims in the bible, and even in the face of close family experiences, I remained immovable. I cannot continue to deny what I now believe is the inevitable true and ultimate reality, that there is a God, there is a heaven, and there is the judgement. Unfortunately, the road I trod and the seeds I have sown are my undoing, the judgement severe, and the punishment eternal. I urge anyone who still has the chance, the opportunity, and the strength of mind and will to reflect on their past behavior. I now believe it is true that as you sow, so too will you reap. As I look back on my hedonistic and atheist life, I see the self-serving selfish and impious pretence I choose to live. It is said that it is never too late, I question that philosophy, it is based on one's ability to believe without doubt, without question the existence of God; that unfortunately is missing from what and who I am. I question everything, every motivation, and every claim, as ulterior motive in being almost invariably the human condition. The moral! if arrogance and impatience had not superseded commonsense and forethought, a lighted path would have been trod, and a comforted assurance would have replaced uncertainty and doubt. In conclusion I can only say, see the good in other people, and you may see the bad in yourself. See the love, the greatest gift we have and embrace it's purity; your inevitable rest, rests in your hands.

I believe her. I have met people who have have these life changing events and read many many books on the subject. For the many fanatic Christians out there who are fearful these accounts are going to undermine their belief (which might not be a bad thing) then be aware that many many Christians have had these experiences as well. The experience only enriched their lives. Do some research!

If any of you who are insisting that Jesus is the only way, please tell me that you had a NDE as well and met him,and not that you are just repeating something you have been taught by other human beings your whole life without any personal experience to back it up.

I know about screaming in agony with pain so bad ya cant move . im bed bound because of it now. In 2009 I had a massive pulmonary embolism being a man I didnt go to the hospital until the next day when I couldnt breath. After test showed how bad it was drs told my wife I was dying. Lying there everything went black. And I felt such peace and no pain that I'd been in for over 25yrs.. Floating around rising upwards I could see or feel a light in the distance ,,, hard to explain it ,,, then in an instant I felt the agonizing pain again and opening my eyes my wife and a nurse who was in shock kinda then she went out almost screaming we have a miracle man here. The next day they checked my heart telling me I would have a lot of damage because it was about to burst the day before. After tests the DR was shocked and said do the tests again. My heart was normal in size and function . they had me in intensive care but moved me out that day.

What she felt was an amazing experience. It is the simple truth. She understood that before that event she had only beliefs, that does not means anything real aside the fact that belief systems are just beliefs and anything else. So... if you think that only Jesus does _"this"_ or is the only _"that"_ then you are missing everything. Religion is good just to give you some discipline, and to anchor yourself to better actions towards the world that surrounds you. Your faith alone can't "save you" at all. You need to go beyond your egoistic nature, need to be brave to fight your own shadows, against your own bad behaviors. Stop indulging your senses and stop running away from the reforms you need to make into your own soul. Let go all the dogma that brainwashed you forever, be that the religious dogmatic persective about everything, be that the materialistic racionalist view about life you are carrying with so much attachment.
