This is so interesting. I had a similar experience when I was 7 years old walking home from school but without the OBE. Everything around me suddenly looked the same but at the same time very different and it stopped me in my tracks. I suddenly knew that all around me was just an illusion (Maya) which I was projecting for my own growth and it was the same for everyone. I always remembered that moment, though I am pretty sure that a few minutes after that event, I probably started skipping on my way home again.

@Ann Francis I believe we come to this plane to feel pain and suffering, these aches we feel can be great awakeners and a window into our soul but the pain doesn't mean we must lose our sense of self in it. One way to regain our sense of self when feelings overwhelm us is to look at them from another perspective. For example, if you are stressed and impatient, look at it as if from above. (Like: Ann Francis is being quite impatient right now, she's going to be late for an important event and it stresses her. Yet, because of the traffic jam, there is nothing she can do about it.) Just by doing this, by identifying and naming the emotion and by looking at it from another perspective, the feeling makes more sense and almost always, it loosens its hold on us. This new perception can also be an eye opener on how your feelings are not necessarily a direct response to events but caused by something deeper within you. Once you see this, it is easier to accept it and/or grow from it.

@@DrLotte Thank you for sending me two beautiful hearts, reminding me of my deceased daughter and myself and how close we were in my near-death-experience and during the following hour when I felt her distress in another ICU in another clinic, when I asked for a bible and read a psalm as a prayer for her, being emotionally and spiritually close to her, even though we were very far apart physically. The most important thing is that my true story is a real PROOF OF ETERNITY, because I was blessed with a huge transformation from anger and hatred about the circumstances of this accident that caused me having to endure three emergency operations to survive, to absolute peace and bliss, happiness and full trust in life that everything is fine and everything will be fine no matter what will happen in the future, as long as I accept my fate and strive to fulfill my destiny. My daughter was a brilliant star shining on my earthly path with spiritual light and love beyond comprehension. She taught me that she was at peace with her passing and that she can forgive everything that is related to her life and death. She taught me that I should embrace my fate and strive to find meaning and peace in the most heartbreaking and painful moments of my life. I heard her say that she was relieved that everything was over and that I shouldn't be so sad, since she is happy where she is now, and that she is still close to me, even though I can't see her. I realized that when we mourn for our deceased loved ones, they are close to us, putting their arms around us and kissing us on the cheek, trying to console us. If we want to make them happy and proud, we need to understand that death can't separate what love has united FOREVER, and that we are asked to embrace our fate and graduate from the most difficult test in life, and earning a PhD of the "university of life", being strong and safe in the utmost love that we share with our deceased loved ones, and making the best of the time we have until we are united again on the other side! That's why I want to share my story with the world, especially with all bereaved parents!
