Karamanlídes= Greek Orthodox-Turkish speaking peoples that they used to live in Anatolia, since ever, until turks, forced them to leave their homelands and migrate to Greece, cause they were Christian instead of Muslim., in 1923. They were writing Turkish language, using the Greek alphabet, left a huge literature legacy in Turkish language, due to that. Their descendants now, live in Greece and the speak only Greek.
@@risingnomad Have only been to the airport in Athens, so can't say... Initially, I'll tell you that I prefer the Serbian language over Greek, so that to me is a big deciding factor. I hate being in countries where I have to speak English with the locals. Gotta assimilate... However, maybe the social fertility in Athens is better. What is social fertility, you ask? How easy it is to make friends!
