Surely my father would like this.. This might sound weird, but practicality is the first aspect before anything for us before buying a scooter, that's why we are sticking with our 6 year old Activa.. This one is just right, the space for 2 people, the flat and long floorboard, the under seat storage and performance seems to be at par ❤

Ather already has a strong presence across India and more or less proven two wheeler. River is sort of love it or hate it design but company looks promising even in the initial stages Your choice😊😊

Battery is always a concern for PPL expecting long range.. IQube finally gave an option with its ST 5.1kw variant... Ather have to learn from TVS on that front..

Misleading RU-vidrs, this is 20k expensive, 1.72L, because even safety features and some fundamentals like TC, Regen, Smart Eco all are locked in pro pack. Such a anti consumer policies.

Dry batteries don't need much maintenance but the replacement cost will be huge, at least 40% of the scooter cost

Software is not "free". It's difficult to develop it well, and be ready for the road. In addition, the 24x7 internet connection baked into the scooter is not free, and android navigation is not free. Ather has to pay Google for accessing its map services.

The Iqube looks more like a traditional scooter , this looks quirky . Honestly most people keep their leg down while they make a full turn , so it wont lockup with your leg.

@@ganeshm6295 depends on person to person, but it'll definitely improve the riding experience. I remember 20yrs back when I was a kid, me and my parents fell after a skid on a rainy evening. Traction control would have saved us that day.

You may still fall on a rainy day if you suddenly brake and they lockup. What you’d need is abs. But just avoid any sudden changes in acceleration, braking, steering while riding in rain and you’d be good

Why everyone is justifying this scooter given its pricing. This scooter had non touch low resolution screen then ather 450x. The features they advertise will 20k extra. They are saying that touch screen is removed because old people wouldn't use it. But the fact is the scooter will be use by everyone in family. Toh mai apne alag ather 45x lu chalane ko and apne father ke liye alag se ather rizta

Multiple themes selection on dash screen 5. Largest free fast charging stations 6. Ride sound selection 7. Speakers with music control 8. Solid app control features with useful ride log and rider behaviour stats 9. Funky looks, Rizta is for uncles 10. Cheaper price!

Hopefully OLA doesn't give up on you. I have a friend who regretted buying the S1 pro. Display issue, brake issue etc etc. He sold it within 8 months of purchase. He met many people facing issues with their Olas while navigating through his problems. So, I never trust ola. Happy with my Ather. 6 years. Still strong

Never had issue with old suspension, but still got a free replacement. BMS issue was managed almost 2 years ago with software update. Ola is a city scooter, some idiots ride it like racer bike and cry problems 😂

@@chowdarykovi Owning it for 2 years, serviced it twice. Raise a ticket on the app and they will pay proper attention, don’t just turn up and complain about service issue.
