Let me guess. You probably are wondering why I have a cantilever mount on a scope base. Well its because I wanted to get 40 moa out of the base and I already had a 20 moa cantilever mount in 34mm. Well you can cry about it or say how silly it looks. It gets the job done so I can dial out to 2000 yards. I know ppl go crazy about height over bore here in the 🇺🇸 but its actually not a huge deal for elr shooting and it can actually be more comfortable depending on the situation.
FYI, the link for the scope you have in the description is for the gen 1 based on the Athlon part number. The Gen2 part number is 210113 for the MOA version
Former military/police sniper. You did a very good job of this. I am building my own sniper rifle and was/am? really stuck on the scope. I will be checking this one out big time. Thank you again.
So I've been looking for a while and don't see anything indicating if it has apochromatic lenses. I'm guessing like the Gen 1 version it doesn't so to me it seems like this scope should be priced more like the Vortex Viper PST than the Razor HD...
Im considering this scope. I had the ares etr but the elevation turret hash mark didnt line up with the scope body on mine and that bothered me considering how much I paid for it. Do your turret hash marks line up on your cronus?
@@Bullets4Bucks Awesome. I'm in Canada and the cronus gen 2 is about $2100. I'm also considering the razor gen 2 but it is $3k. Most say the cronus is just as good. Which would you recommend?
For a scope cost more than $1500, it's already on the expensive side. When you talked about it feel expensive, I would be very surprised if it doesn't feel that way.
