Yes, and I bought this stock in June before this video came out. Even though it would have been nice to see how the picatinnys were installed before, I assembled it...then disassembled it to install them...I really really like this stock. So, instead of it taking about 5 minutes to install this stock it took me about 15 minutes in all. As awesome as it gets.
I can appreciate the level of modification that may need to be done. I feel comfortable with that and I understand there would be no support. I just need some idea of the place to start
@USAdude30 Make sure the trigger is square and lined up with the barreled action. If you are having trouble putting the trigger guard back in, make sure the groove on the left side of the trigger is lined up with the groove in the barreled action, then square up the trigger assembly in the stock and slide into place.
Hey Thomas, we have never done it and it isn't something we've seen done often. It would take a lot of modification to fit considering the different position of the gas block.
The trigger assembly didn't come out as easily as shown but this video covers the basics. Note this stock will add 3lbs to your stock Mini 30 with plastic stock.
Highly recommend these stocks ... love mine to death. I use it on the Mini-14 which is a 580 series, a 5812 Law Enforcement model with the Government Barrel. Fit perfectly ... very good quality.
It is pretty easy of you assemble it the same way it came apart. Most people have trouble with a soring in it not sitting on the correct spot. This video has the correct way to do all of this for you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-irwVzrl7gwA.htmlsi=duz56s6RqkD5QP1C @@baldzilla1baldzilla126
Sorry Thomas as we said we've never done it or seen it done up close. If you're going to try it our advice would be to move slowly and take your time. More material can come off, but it can't go back on.
I have a series 582 and I read somewhere that the ATI stock will not work with this one because of the trigger group being too think and the action will bind. I ordered it yesterday from Amazon and was wondering if you could tell me if it will work or not.

ATI Gunstocks quick question when putting the bottom rail on, isn't the metal insert from the wood stock or the metal insert supposed to go back in or no?
Mini 30: Trigger assembly doesn't just snap into place? The area in front of the grip is just flat, should there be a hole or something for the trigger to lock into place?
Hey sorry we are just seeing this comment now! Sorry to hear yo had some issues with installation. If you reach out to info@atigunstocks.com we will go above and beyond to try to resolve these issues.
@neolexington ive been searching the net and cant find anything helpful. i wonder if you can pull a cali mod and make the folding stock permanent and bypass the stupid law. otherwise try messaging the video uploader maybe they can help. i cant find anything.
I can’t get my trigger assembly back in!! Been trying for hours. The assembly is cocked, the safety is on, but I can’t get it in! I feel so dumb. I smacked it, pushed with all my strength. It won’t go back in. What am I doing wrong?!?!?
Hey Bobby, we are sorry to hear that yo are having issues with installation. If you reach out to info@atigunstocks.com we will go above and beyond to try to solve these issues.
@neolexington Michigan law A rifle with a barrel of at least 16 inches in length and a stock capable of being contracted or folded to an overall length of less than 26 inches being fully operable in such contracted or folded condition is a 'short-barreled rifle' whose sale or possession is prohibited this law is retarded this is just michigan politicians way of ignoring the federal 16 barrel minimum and making legal guns illegal for no real reason otherwise if its closed and 26' long your good.
Hey Marc, since this video was released we have designed a new Strikeforce Stock. As long as your model has the same sized diameter barrel as the Mini-Thirty the stock should fit. You can also check the serial number on your rifle as our stock is designed to fit rifles with serial numbers 181 and above. If there is anything else I can do to help feel free to reach out to socialmedia@atioutdoors.com Thanks, Abe - ATI
