ATI Ruger Mini-14/Mini-30 Strikeforce Gunstock Installation 

Yes, and I bought this stock in June before this video came out. Even though it would have been nice to see how the picatinnys were installed before, I assembled it...then disassembled it to install them...I really really like this stock. So, instead of it taking about 5 minutes to install this stock it took me about 15 minutes in all. As awesome as it gets.

I was having a heck of a time figuring out how to put the rail on the bottom for a bi pod. this hit it right on the head for me. thanks for the Vid!

I can appreciate the level of modification that may need to be done. I feel comfortable with that and I understand there would be no support. I just need some idea of the place to start

The 7" rail can only be mounted on top, but the 6" rail is meant to be on the bottom. The 7" rail is tapered so it would not work well on the bottom.

Everything that is needed is included, anything needing locktite from ATI will be sent pre-applied with on necessary parts.

@USAdude30 Make sure the trigger is square and lined up with the barreled action. If you are having trouble putting the trigger guard back in, make sure the groove on the left side of the trigger is lined up with the groove in the barreled action, then square up the trigger assembly in the stock and slide into place.

Hey Thomas, we have never done it and it isn't something we've seen done often. It would take a lot of modification to fit considering the different position of the gas block.

The trigger assembly didn't come out as easily as shown but this video covers the basics. Note this stock will add 3lbs to your stock Mini 30 with plastic stock.

Highly recommend these stocks ... love mine to death. I use it on the Mini-14 which is a 580 series, a 5812 Law Enforcement model with the Government Barrel. Fit perfectly ... very good quality.

Sorry Thomas as we said we've never done it or seen it done up close. If you're going to try it our advice would be to move slowly and take your time. More material can come off, but it can't go back on.

looks like a good stock but im not sure the rifle meets the overall length requirements for michigan, when it is folded.

Is it possible to mount the longer rail on the bottom in order to add a fore end grip closer to the magazine?

I have a series 582 and I read somewhere that the ATI stock will not work with this one because of the trigger group being too think and the action will bind. I ordered it yesterday from Amazon and was wondering if you could tell me if it will work or not.

Can the buffer tube be replaced with a milspec tube so other ends can be used? Can the pistol grip be changed to other AR style grips?

Do you have to use the ati hand guard to use this stock or can you have another hand guard ??

I notice that no locktie or lock washers are used. Are they not needed?

How does this compare to a sage stock (for the ebr)?

Mini 30: Trigger assembly doesn't just snap into place? The area in front of the grip is just flat, should there be a hole or something for the trigger to lock into place?

Do you have instructions how to remove ATI stock? I bought mine several years ago and haven’t used it at all so can’t remember how to remove it

@neolexington ive been searching the net and cant find anything helpful. i wonder if you can pull a cali mod and make the folding stock permanent and bypass the stupid law. otherwise try messaging the video uploader maybe they can help. i cant find anything.

I can’t get my trigger assembly back in!! Been trying for hours. The assembly is cocked, the safety is on, but I can’t get it in! I feel so dumb. I smacked it, pushed with all my strength. It won’t go back in. What am I doing wrong?!?!?

My trigger piece keep fallin out after the first round then it malfunctions and bottom tigger piece falls out anyone know what’s wrong it’s a mini 30
