I think with the Atlanta Hawks 5 years ago starting with Trae Young. We had one great year going to the Eastern Conference after that everything stopped. Players became disgruntled. Since Quinn Snyder came aboard players have been traded. When a team puts a team together and things don't you have to move on and build another team. To be sustained in Professional Sports you have to have continuity. We haven't had that in a while. John Collins started it and things started falling apart. What we need to do today free agency at 6 pm we get a Center to play defense, rebound, and chip in at least 12-15 points a game. But we need someone at least 6'11-7'0

What "we" got is relief from the foolish trade Trae/keep Murray nonsense. Atlanta has had much deeper issues such as no centers that can actually play pick n pop basketball and no frontcourt playmaking as well as lack of a defensive stopper and a weak bench. No matter who was running the point they wouldn't have had much success with so many holes on the roster.

Murray had a better contract, which is why he would be easier to move. Kobe does similar things that Murray can do. Murray's defense was not the same as it was in San Antonio. Mainly because he had to pick up the scoring for the lackluster of Hunter, CC, Griffin, Mathews2×, and on occasion, Bogi. Trae's defense is getting better. 2nd on the team in steals(1.3) to Murray's 1.4. Once Trae puts on more weight, which he has lately, his defense will improve more.

This is where you got it wrong. It is not about the number of first round picks BUT the CONTROL of those first round picks. It is always better to have your own picks than to hope the Lakers suck next season and get a high pick. This trade DOES NOT give the Hawks the ability to tank because the Spurs still got their 2025 first. So... with what they got for Murray from the Pels, the Hawks got fleeced twice.

I like your videos, but you gotta stop saying “the word “Elite”. Dyson Daniels is not an elite defender. Secondly, I believe Trae and DeAndre are on the move. It makes a lot of sense to now go the OKC route. I would really consider trading Trae to the Spurs for our original 2025/2026 unprotected pick & Tre Jones from Spurs. This allows us to play Kobe Bufkin more minutes to see if he’s in the long term future and allow JJ to be the star along Zacc. Trae can’t win with this team and it’s no point of trying. Lastly, accommodating draft picks with no over priced players gives us a ton of money to wait on Ant Edwards contract to expire in 2027. He embraces the city and a small market like Minn can force him back home with a team that’s developed and ready to win by then
