They are remaining very faithfully to the original sound, but this lead guitarist is the glue to the original sound. These guys are very good !

I was at this show. Admittedly this is not the classic lineup. But this version of ARS sounded awesome on every single song they played that night. Steve Stone does a great job of filling Barry Bailey's shoes which, as any ARS fan knows, are some mighty big shoes to fill. And Andy Anderson handled the lead vocals very well. This band in their heyday was a tough act to follow.

Yes they were, a very tight band! Saw them 3 time's, the last time, sad to say, was at Lynurd Synurds memorial cocert in Jacksonville FL, sad day!!!☯️.

Sadly, all six members in the band's classic lineup are now dead with the recent passing of keyboardist Dean Daughtry. Singer Ronnie Hammond, who first joined ARS in 1972 to replace Rodney Justo, died in 2011; followed by drummer Robert Nix in 2012; then bassist Paul Goddard in 2014; and finally guitarists J. R. Cobb in 2019 and Barry Bailey in 2022.

I always liked this song and loved to dance to it. What a great guitar solo! A long time ago, I saw them live in a very small venue siting right in front. I was high from that experience for days afterward.

Your right they don't sound exactly like the original band members.there gone nothing can be done about that but these guys are keeping there music alive and doing a great job of it.lone live ars and this kind of music I growed up with

Sadly, as of this January 26 keyboardist Dean Daughtry is also dead. Now only the original lead singer Rodney Justo, who originally quit ARS after the first album, is still alive.

True. That's how it goes. Time flies Saw them in '78 and they quickly became my favorite band. They stayed true to their roots and really Rocked. --These guys of ten or so years ago put 0n a great show.

So many negative comments....don't understand...this is good band, maybe not the original, have to say I have heard a few versions of this, one with the original bass player..now that was awful.....great song..great version.....at least the audience appreciated it.......

I saw ARS do a show in Orlando in 2003, and this guy was the singer, not Hammond. He sounded much better then than now. So if Hammond died in 2011, why was this guy there in 2003?

It’s not their song if no one in that actual line up wrote it…they may have legally acquired the name and the rights to the music but it’s not their song …and what he really meant to say is a “ tribute “ band….again …if there aren’t any original members or even if there’s one…you’re nothing but a tribute band…and as far as this version goes …they’re really good
