Donald really outdid himself with this show. It's truly amazing. Last episode got really deep near the end. When Darius said "now we're friends" for some reason that got to me after he backed Donald up from a serious situation of having nothing so he could feed his daughter. The writing in this show is amazing.

Last night's episode was so damn funny! The first three episodes were average but they hit a homerun with that crazy ass social vlogger that was stalking paperboy.

First 3 were average? I highly disagree. The second episode was GREAT as it tackled on some issues of Sexuality in that type of environment and the mentally ill who are in jail within that type of environment. I know it's like a dark comedy but each episode has it's own hidden meaning behind it, like the last one with social media guy doing anything for money or near the end when everything got a little deep. This show is amazing combining and mixing certain things at a time.

FLintxor If you want to tackle some issues of sexuality in that type of environment and the mentally ill just walk down the streets of Moreland in Little Five Points? Like I said, the first three episodes were average, I see that shit everyday. I don't need a morality play mixed with my comedy. This is why last night's episode was so entertaining. And the Narrative for the social media guy was exploitation. They weren't doing anything for money in that episode they were just exploiting their situation and if you noticed no one was making any money in that episode?

theylied1776 Exploitation of their situation for money, that's why he was exploiting Paper Boi's situation as Paper Boi was exploiting his Rapper status. Still doing it for money, how could you possibly miss that. And good for you that you see it every day, but it was for those who DON'T see it every day and it shed some light on that type of issue, which was my point and the point of some of these episodes. Again disagree, they weren't average.

Why do people think this show is so funny? It has some dark humor in it, but a lot of it is real world shit.

Dev Patel But people think powerful moments are there for humor. Moments that have meaning. That scene with the guy who just realized he'd been fucking around with an other dude was actually fantastic, and made me feel. The whole scene was perfectly acted and written, and I saw it as what it means to be gay in the hood, and I've seen people saying that part was hilarious, when I thought it was powerful. But I guess it's just a matter of perspective.

Those scenes are made to make you laugh, but then to make you think about why you're laughing and the underlying issues that should be taken seriously. The mentally-ill guy at the police station is the most blatant example of the show's message because it actually had the people in the station laughing at him, even if the audience probably felt uncomfortable, despite it being a serious issue. We're supposed to be Earn in that situation, and in many others scenes to a lesser degree, questioning why everyone is laughing at someone who has real problems and needs help It uses humour to get across its message of real problems without seeming preachy
