@@ashleyjonique8782 My wife and I was watching your video. As soon as you spoke I told her you had to be from New Orleans. I'm from New Orleans too. I know that accent.
I’m just curious are these Gatekeepers from Atlanta or are they ppl who has moved here from different states? Because truthfully really there are a few ppl here that are actually from Atlanta.
Freaknik fucked ATL up lol...I bet if you looked at sixty percent of the black people walking around Atlanta birth certificate it want say birthplace was somewhere in the state of GA lol
Gabbana Beauchamp OK AND I said that because outside of the ppl I know from here and my family. Many people I’ve met are not from the A. They’re from all over. It’s not that many ppl you meet that will say I’m from Atlanta.
Omg this has made me so happy , I’m going to Atlanta in February for my birthday for the 3rd year in the row and I’m definitely adding these to the itinerary
Absolutely love this. Coming from a small rural town in central Georgia I’ve never been to Atlanta to explore so I’m looking forward to checking out a lot of these places you included. Sadly I’m stationed in a tiny town in Northern Cali flying home to Ga in 2 weeks, I’m hoping there will still be some good places open during this pandemic. Awesome blog!!
Ashley Jonique Lol well I think you're going to do great hosting! You seem very authentic and down to earth, so hopefully this will open more doors for you! Keep doing your thing!😊
I'm visiting ATL in a couple months for the first time. Looking forward to it. And she from New Orleans I'mma be there Thanksgiving wknd, guess I'mma have to get my belly ready lol
Loved what I saw, I didn't know there was a slide up there at Ponce, but I would add Decatur, Kevin Rathbun Steak, the Varsity, the Beltline, Piedmont Park, Buford Highway, Slutty Vegan, Ardens Garden...
This is such a mis representation of my city. The only thing they got right was Cascade. What was shown was a watered down version of New Atlanta. Where’s Busy Bee’s Mary Macs Spondivits MJQ. Thrillist your gate keepers aren’t even from the city.
An odd one to go on top of PCM but not actually inside for the contrast vs O4W or even getting into the Beltline shaking things up for good or ill or somewhere like Buford Highway---perhaps the least amount of food seen on any of these to date, even if the sole meal had some well populated trays to it.
@@quanamckinney519 I usually take people to Tassili's Raw Reality, its run by Itals in West End, they film a lot of rap videos in that area. there is a Ital donut place around the corner too. Its an experience you won't soon forget, you can find a few reviews on here. Ponce City Market that is in this video has a food hall. You can rent a scooter or bike from there and go down the Beltline (a big sidewalk) to Krog Street Market, another food hall. Krog Street has better food. Downtown is the Sweet Auburn Curb Market, most of the stuff there is open Mon-Fri only. Atlanta does brunch, everyone goes out and it can be hard to get a table. My favorite upscale brunch is Poor Calvin's, my favorite downscale brunch is Ria's Bluebird. Ria's is right by Oakland Cemetery, a historic cemetery here, so you can walk off the pancakes. Currently there is a lot going into East Point/College Park, down by the Airport. I don't get that way much but there is a Cajun place there, Louisana Bistreaux, and Virgil's Gullah, which is about as Southern as you get. Octopus Bar in the video is supposed to be good, its in East Atlanta Village, that neighborhood is much attitude for me. EATS is not that good, its quantity over quality.
No you dont , I live here, it’s expensive for no reason , it’s trashy af , so over crowded you can’t get anywhere in a decent amount of time. Some parts are nice like Buckhead or Atlantic station, but the west size or east side, be carful where go cause you’ll probably get robbed and followed by homeless people begging for money . I would stay where ever you live at , OR go ANYWHERE else.
Julie Wanzer people like you have ruined this city. Buckhead is trash don’t go there unless you want to get roofied or you need to buy and engagement ring. Atlantic station is literally a mall filled with chain stores?? You can find it anywhere. Trash ass opinion move back to New England please.
I searched and she does but she doesn't post content. Her personality is so loveable im sure many of us would watch but she may be too busy. I did follow her in IG though.
i've been to this place once and i didn't like it at all. never went back. maybe it's gotten better since i last went but i just never wanted to go back after my first time.
lmao. yall show NO MERCY in these comments. ima chill on y’all behalf. its def not New Orleans food. Mike just showed me his personal taste. go easy on EATS yall 🤣🙏🏾
Ashley Jonique Ashley I went to Oceania I had great crabcakes, but can you give me some other places to go to when I come back , I no that’s considered a tourist restaurant
Tourist: "What's the best thing to do in Hotlanta?" Me: "Get lost" . The real escape room is watching agitated tourists go ballistic trying to get around or away from traffic. HMMM a career where u drink 4 a living. My uncle had that job until the great state of GA saw fit to remove his driving license.
@LA Ryan well it looks like a slow pace city, it looks like it's saturated with the same type of business all over, doesnt seem like theres much to do.
Like come on. Where's Busy Bee or The Beautiful? You didn't even explore the different parts of the city. At least hit up Little Five Points, Midtown, or Atlantic Station, something more authentic than this. This is a piss-poor tourist representation of Atlanta.
Can someone who is actually from Atlanta tell me why this video is so terrible? I mean I frankly don't find this video all that interesting but Atlanta can't possibly be this uninteresting.
