Wow these are awesome news! So many cool titles. Also exciting the fact that they'll be cut at 45 rpm, so that if you already have a fantastic sounding 33 rpm version (like the speaker corner cut by KG for many of these albums) , you might still consider that the 75th is non-redundant. Looking forward to get a lot of these releases.

YES!!!!! And I thought Rock and Roll was forgotten by AS! Boy was I Wrong! Coming back with a vengeance! I’m So Excited! You just stopped me from getting the Bad Company Rocktober pressing that I have reserved at my record store! 😂 So many iconic rock albums deserve the Acoustic Sounds treatment! Everybody is saying Led Zeppelin, but I don’t think that’ll ever happen so I won’t say it. But Awesome choices So Far. Thanks Chad!

It's heartening to see some titles from the 80's and later among these; I've been critical in the past so it's only fair to acknowledge when positive developments occur. I also hope that success with popular titles will allow some risks on more niche items. Something like the Gene Harris' Quartet's "Funky Gene's" or "Brotherhood" would be so nice to see on vinyl. Keep up the great work!

Not a surprise given the 75th anniversary. I'm actually quite excited about this new series, just subscribed to it. Looking forward to the LZ announcement, perhaps UHQR? Great stuff!

Chad and AP gang, this most definitely fulfills the criteria of a ‘big announcement’-congrats! Unexpected and surprising and a wonderful new beginning of reissues.

75 records wow that is big news Chad two records per month for the next 3 years. Congratulations I know classic records as well as rhino along with Bernie Grumman and Kevin Gray already reissued audiophile pressings of a few these titles that are in short supply and hard to get so that's always a good choice. It will be interesting to see what choices you make.

Amazing! Atlantic has one of the greatest and most important catalogs in recorded music history. AP is the treatment it deserves, Beautiful! Will these be limited quantity or pressed indefinitely, I wonder?

I am so freakin pumped for this... Atlantic made the right choice allowing Chad to do this! I'll go ahead and apologize for everyone who kept asking about the announcement including myself, this was worth the wait. Let's think about this for a second, having a major label who's gonna allow you to pick from their best albums for re-issue is a huge feat that I'm sure took an insane amount of convincing. All of these albums are some of the greatest albums of all time but as a kid growing up in the 90s, Stone Temple Pilots "Core", I honestly can't believe. I say that only because having Analog Productions do that album I thought was just a pipe dream due to a number of reasons but man am I excited. STPs "Purple" would also be amazing, just sayin. Can't wait to hear if there are analog tapes for that album. I hope for Chad's sake and everyone else including me, we see "Led Zeppelin" as well because there's no one better to do it! THIS IS JUST AWESOME, thank you to the entire team! (Correction: STPs "Purple" is confirmed, worlds are colliding)

How fantastic is this! Finally some powerful titles being released with SACD…I’ve seen the “pre-release” list at the website, and the Coltrane, Charles, Mingus, Reddings… etc… I’m delighted to finally send Acoustic sounds new orders. I haven’t ordered but 2 titles in the last couple years since not much has been released on SACD. Yeah, i know, i know… lots of folks could care less - but, i sure do…. Mingus SACD - purchased! However, as excited as i am, I’ll wait till they are released to purchase - - still waiting for years on the pre-release Prestige Stereo SACDs 13 titles - - so, my guess is some of these promised SACDs my never materialize. That said, when they show up, my money is out the door, for sure.

That would be amazing if you could do the first eponymous album of Badlands! Such an underrated band and a freakin' good album!

Hi Chad, if any of the 70 players you currently have in the team gets injured, or is in bad shape, can you please call in Johnny Jenkins “Ton-Ton Macoute!” from the substitutes’ bench? Maybe not the most well known player, but I’m sure a lot of people will find a new favourite. The original Monarch pressing sounds great but I’m sure you can squeeze more out of it. And the Duane Allman and Beck connections will help to sell a few. 😉

While I'm overjoyed Atlantic is engaging AP for this, I really wish these were 33 instead of 45 - I'm so over flipping records every ten minutes. But I will get a handful of these that are important to me and that I think work with the format.

Absolutely massive announcement, must have killed you to sit on that for so long. Wow, cannot wait for those AAA releases of Stone Temple Pilots, I'm beside myself!

The 45RPM format, while having a slight edge over 33s, only appeal to those audiophiles with deep pockets. This is really putting out a lot of fans, who want great releases and struggle financially. The $35- $40 price point for a superb 33RPM AAA release is where it's at for the majority of music lovers.

I'm waiting for Chad's announcement on the Atlantic UHQR series.

Chad and the team are doing great work getting all these titles out on quality pressings! BUT please pay somebody to sort your website and webstore out.. it is a disaster :(

my heart soars like an eagle, then I remember the sixty dollar price tag. I guess it depends on which album one wants to make a big audiophile deal over, verses the rest of one's regular collection in contrast. I am generally pleased with the high quality re-issued albums that I own from acoustic sounds, but consider 45 rpm best left to symphonic works, not top of the one hundred billboard hits , where 33 1/3 has always been sufficient for my needs.

this is incredible news. Hoping those Genesis SACDs sound better than the Rhino ones from a few years ago. Amazing collection of titles - please consider adding SACD to the subscription series with an option of getting the LP when SACD not available (Phil Collins).

This is huge news, especially for the Genesis fans. I've always hated the Nick Davis mixes and I'm so excited for the 45rpms and the SACD's! Will we see Duke, Wind & Wuthering, and Then There Were Three coming after the initial 75 titles? I must have them all! 🤩

Please let's make it available as a Hi-Res FLAC dowloads (24/96 or 24/192 when it's possible) as well. Also, if possible, I'd love to see more Atlantic Records artists released on Hybrid SACD in the future like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Jean Luc Ponty, King Crimson, Rolling Stones, Vangelis, etc

Would love to see more jazz, but I get it. Ornette's Change of the Century would have been great though! Also-- on the off chance you get to do LZ, it'd be great to see Presence included.
