You make a good point but...you make me realize that we can become enraptured with original songs, musicians, etc. yet this woman can sang and if...she had, originally, sang song, well, we might've gotten used to hearing it that way. I played (still) flute/sax and it's easier for an instrument to copy another instrument yet a voice is an instrument, too! You feel me?
I believe Barbara Weathers was our favorite female lead. Barbara was so much a part of Atlantic Starr legacy and Wayne and her romantic relationship was the reason why too.
Atlantic Starr hasn't been the same since Barbara and Sharon Bryant's vocals left the group. I loved this group as a teen but I wish at some point they could have made amends with the 2 female vocalist ( Barbara and Sharon ) to do some sort of reunion.
