At 4:50 those are Goliath groupers! We see them all the time in FL. Glad you both were able to check Atlantis off your bucket list. I also thought the commercials for it were pretty cool back in the day! 🌴

Loved seeing Atlantis up close. I'm a diver (obvious from my avatar) and every time you don't know the name of a sea creature or call it by the wrong name I want to tell you all the information!!! So much fun!

We might be going there this fall! I’ve been to Atlantis once, and it was so crazy how sharks are in that water slide! This video is nostalgic for me because I think we went there when I was 4-6. Really cool to see your thoughts about it!
Watching Peter flip over in the river brought back memories. We spent a week at Atlantis and I came home covered in bruises from all the waterpark slides. Totally worth it!

AYOOOOOOOOO I actually have been wanting to go there ever since I was a kid I remember seeing the commercials pass on Nickelodeon in my mother not being able to afford us a trip out there I was only able to dream and now that I’m older most definitely on the goals list!!!!
one of my favorite places to go.. Just walking around the lagoons is amazing, sea turtles that come right up to you, sharks all over the place... The slide that drops you into the shark tank is a blast. The not so lazy river lol... I could spend days there.
Look away for once second when y’all are on the lazy river, just for when I look back it’s rapids and when I seen a empty raft. First thought oh dang it got Kitra, where did she go. Was relieved seeing her just floating up ahead. Lesson I learned from this never look away Dean. Sending y’all so much love!!!
OMG Peter!!! I'm so glad you found your glasses!!!! That always scares me that if I lost mine I'd be blind lol. I"m so happy to see this and during it I kept thinking they will be back at this again once Kitra is all healed up. Great video (as usual). Love to both of you. ❤💜❤

So fun little factoid/trivia: all those wild and crazy beautiful glass sculptures are all ORIGINAL Chihuly glass. So not only is Atlantis just amazing, it doubles as a giant art gallery too. As always though, best US based travel content Ive found on youtube so far. Keep off that foot Kitra and get all better, cause youve got a ton more adventures like this one to go on!

We were lucky enough to be able to spend a week at Atlantis and on Nassau over Christmas and it was fantastic. You have to go back and spend more time there so you can truly enjoy everything at Atlantis and on Nassau. So much to do and see and EAT! And I seriously ate it so many times on the Rapids River! It was our favorite thing (close 2nd was the Serpent Slide), but definitely not lazy! There is a super lazy, lazy river over by the Beach tower though. So lazy you almost have to get out and push! BTW...the Raspberry Dole Whip...Delicious!! Surprised you didn't have that on your To Do list. Also, those cats became my daughter's best friends and we fed them every time we saw them (we literally bought cat treats at the market)..even when we were at the buffet. One literally came to our table on the patio and sat there the entire dinner service.

I took a cruise to the Bahamas and was lucky enough to check this place out in person, although I didn’t get to stay there it was still very cool to see in person

Glad you’re ok, Peter. Never a good feeling to lose your glasses. Your videos always remind me to either use my prescription glasses with the elastic for swimming or put in my contacts and wear goggles. I’m actually more terrified of rapids than I am of a steep water slide. I just don’t trust getting thrown off the tube.
We have actually booked a room at the Atlantis in the beach tower (which is their cheapest) for 1 night and it was cheaper than 2 of us doing the day pass. Depends on the season but something to consider in the future.

What a cool place. The aquarium was neat, though I'll admit, I'd probably be "that guy" who sings the "Jaws" theme every time a shark showed up. LOL Hope you're healing nicely, Kitra, and that soon you're ankle will be back stronger than ever.
My parents honeymooned in Nassau in 1957. They were told Paradise Island would always be kept natural and pristine. We honeymooned in a hotel on Paradise Island in 1983. Development on the island was well underway with several hotels and many vacation villas. Now, in 2022, almost 65 years later, Paradise looks completely built-out. Someday soon, we can truly say "they paved Paradise, and put up a water park."
Next time you are in the Bahamas you have to meetup with the people behind DeezyVision. They run the best channel about Nassau. They could show you all the best local things. I think you would become instant friends.
Thanks for the Memories. My favorite part is Lobby where you have the natural sea NOT an aquarium. And and it's 100% free . The day we were there it was raining so hard and that at one point a whole school of sharks swam down where we got such a great View and then they were gone. sharks. And all sorts of other interesting fish just swimming in and out. because we were going to go to the beach instead. So I was glad for the rain actually it was cool you guys DIDN'T even look in the lobby at the natural fish out in the natural sea!! You went straight to the boring Aquarium guarantee the natural is 100% better anyway thanks for sharing p.s. my cat did not care for shrimp it was so weird she would not eat it 😆

At 12:28 you guys showed the cruise ships making a circle. What you didn't know is that was the Carnival's 50th anniversary celebration with probably every cruise you tuber on one of those ships. That many ships don't gather that close by chance and it is amazing you got to see it!!
