Great video but I have a question. How come your course is only 14 days for a level 3 cpo license and companies like Greymen and Talon its 6 weeks? what is different?
Does what you done in the forces have a big factor in finding work I’m currently in the infantry but not much going on during peace time, do you need kinetic tours ?
@@rumislifestylecookingtips8044 who did you do it with and how long was the course? I am waitng for the team near me to start their course again, it is a 6 weeks of training
You got military experience mate? Coz if you haven’t, reality is you’ll be looking for work for a long long time…..basically, you won’t get touched by any reputable company without a minimum of two combat tours
@@davidgalton8847 Unless you know people personally, that's the easiest way to break into the industry. Either have a military background or it's about who you know.
Late asf but: you are going to need way more than just 40 days training to become a bodyguard. This is just a quick brief for people who need the basic skills and yes your height and size matters in a job where you are supposed in extreme situations cover the client with your own body.
it all really depends on where you do your training, firearms training is not a requirement for cpo in the UK but it does help down the line if you get hired for an overseas contract, I worked with guys who ended up going for the firearms training so that they could get higher risk contracts in Iraq and are there now making near $1000 a day protecting banks
@@CallMeTwisty where can i do this firearm training course and where can I look to get a job in iraq as im originally Kurdish so would be a perfect suit for it
@@ahmedrafiq7104 you would need to have your cpo license first, some companies put you through fire arms training but I would check and see who is nearest you. As for getting stationed in areas like Iraq it is all down to experience, you start off doing shit low level work to make a name for yourself then eventually you get on the circuit and get higher end work. Takes time
I wonder how you manage to protect someone in a a host country, like the UK where carrying firearms is illegal. If you are responsible for that persons safety, and a coordinated team of offenders carrying firearms comes into contact, what are you going to do other than get shot? By the time armed police officers arrive it will all be over. Seems like an absurdity to risk your life, knowing you can't even carrying anything to defend yourself with.
To James Bond if you ask me. You pay for what you get when it comes to security. If you need four to 5 body guards to do a transfer theres a problem. Military trained? I found three discrepancies with the video which could by life threatening to your client. However, I suppose something is better than nothing!
@@jakelydon1988 You don't have to be competent in English literature to be able to defend yourself or someone else for that matter. This course is for you local plastic gangster doorman who has seen about as much action as a nun in a convent. I've done more tours than the Ed Sheran seen more action than you will ever get. I live with PTSD, anxiety and depression for what I have achieved. Paperwork ponces who couldn't fight there way out a child's playground.
