This is the ULA SBIRS GEO 6 Atlas V rocket launching from Cape Canaveral florida in the morning of August 3, 2022. This was recorded from my back patio, in East Orlando. Great morning for a sunrise launch!
My son is a trucker. He says he just saw a rocket launch at midnight. Is that a common occurrence there at Cape Canaveral? I hope you will answer tomorrow.
Oh yeah. There are 3 different organizations sending up rockets from cape canaveral: ULA, SpaceX, and NASA. There is a launch almost every week. Many times several a week. Sometimes several in a day! I’ve seen as many as 3 launches in a day over here!
@@possum303 I can hear the rumble of the rocket engines a few minutes after launch. I can also hear the sonic booms from the first stage entering the atmosphere, if they land it at cape Canaveral.
