@@beez1717 yeah, but once it is made, you will never have inventory issues again. not to mention he did say he wanted to be as OP as possible... what is more OP than unlimited inventory?
Dire: avoids placing multiple seeds, and try to max out the output of a single seed to compensate. Also Dire: avoid doing higher disk space and fills up his disk manager with 64k baby disks
Hey dire if u place compressed iron blocks next to a liquid compressor becomes like a heatsink and I can add more and add more heatsinks to dissipate the heat instead of using vortex tubes. Id say it's worth it if it's late game and u don't wanna setup something complicated. Of you see this Pls remember it for when I need something super hot or cold
Why choose the mekanism pipes over the pipez pipes? You explained why you like the mekanism pipes but what is their advantage over pipez pipez or do you just like them or use them out of habit? All are excellent reasons to use them as there is no wrong answer. I want to learn why I might consider using them. I've had the habit of using pipez but I have no idea why anymore.
Mekanism are upgradable through many tiers. So you can control flowrates and such without addons. Also they have specific use, one for gasses, fluids, items, etc.
Fluids when stored in disks tend to just fill up with water. Personally using the storage blocks is better because you can white list exactly what you want
well almost 1\2 of the eppisode house cleaning when do we get to the OP ness eppisodees Ps: just make 10 to 20 disk drives and fill them with disks when they get full make 20 more you have one Tiny Farm making everything for you why not make 50 farms making everything for you u have 1 fussion thingy why not make 10 or 20 think BIGGER
Most his farm resources are going into fuctional storage drawers that have void upgrades, and higher priority. Disks are just being filled with mob farm junk…
While watching i was thinking a suggestion for LaserIO, would it be an idea that it would be able to react to different strengths of redstone signals and also emit different redstone signals, or that it just be an passthrough of the redstone signal strength. That way it could say, when you get a signal strength of 8, you can send out a redstone signal, but anything below it will not react.
I was thinking the same. Using the sensor mode on the red stone card would be perfect way to do it in my opinion would probably take up the empty space left in the red stone card for you to input the strength your looking for and when outputting for what you want
Let me ask, do you think Direwolf keeps a small notebook to put down his ideas as he comes up with them? Or do you think he just files that away in his memory palace to recall at his leisure?
Pretty sure he keeps notes. Look at some of the simplest things he forgets even though he just did it in his last series. Not that that's a flaw, we all forget things like that. That, and he does a butt-load of testing in a test world.
Watching this made me curios if there was a way to build a compressor set up using ended tanks and laserIO inside a reactor chamber and just letting the compressor vent to fill the chamber and have an external signal shut off the compressor since laserIO can go through blocks and could be practical to save space and have some extra stored compressed air
So let me savor this moment in time, Being the first on the comment line, For in this virtual world, it means a lot, To have my words seen, to have a spot.
It's not the biggest deal in the world, but Dire will work 10-15 min straight with those jarring chunk boundaries lit up 🤣. Not sure what's worse, that or not lighting up underground so we can see what's going on. Just giving you a hard time - you're not just my favorite RU-vidr, you're also the only one I watch play Minecraft anymore. Everyone else seems either purposely bad (for dramatic effect) or just so goofy it's irritating .
I recommend you choose AE2 in the next series so you can check out the overflow destruction and equal distribution cards for the storage cells. I haven't used drawers for mass storage ever since I started using them
