I have never tried this mod. Finally got the whole weekend off and will be playing! Some really nice villager gave me some stuff 😉😉 and it will be this and building some trains in Create!! Thanks, Dire, for helping this ole Gramma learn this cool stuff!
You should add a redstone signal comparator like card into LaserIO. Like it can detect the input signal and only output if it is a signal strength of x or above
For the pressure chamber, air loss is by item inserted/removed, so if you make compressed iron blocks (using iron blocks), you lose a LOT less pressure per craft. :)
Dire, one recommendation, if you plan to tick accelerate your generators, place your pressure gauge at the point of highest pressure because even though you left a bar of leeway those pipes arent that fust, plus its a perfect opportunity to use scm or a comparator to subract signal strenghts
Dire, that unknown button on the charging station will disconnect whatever youre charging from the system, that way the tool doesnt lose pressure in the case of a blowout like you had, also lets the station build pressure without having to take the tool out.
Good early PNE Redstone it's a pressure gauge , competitor , Redstone lvl emitter (pick ur favorit) , and Redstone module Like dire has you just place a gauge along ur piping add ur comparitor reading the gauge slap ur Redstone lvl emitter to the side of the comparitor (create lever works well) set ur perfected lvl usually around 6-7 till later when you have more upgrades then using a Redstone modual(input) you take the signal from ur comparitor and place ur 2nd Redstone modual (output) in one of the sides of ur compressors minor tweaks may be needed dipening on how much pressure you can store and how many compressors you have PNE has a fair bit of flexibility when it comes to how you want to aproch it's progression and has some of my favorite syteme I've ever played with well worth discovering what this mod can do
Dire, are you really sure that the Pressure Chamber doesn't automatically export? because I'm pretty sure it does and you don't need a pipe to extract, just a chest/container.
17:18 WRONG. a hopper somehow tells the interface that more are incoming. so if you put a stack of 64 in a hopper, it'll take a while to load them all into the interface, but then the interface will only perform a single insertion sequence. maybe that's a newer feature since 1.12, i don't know. but i know it's true in 1.16
I have a question, if you were to teleport items into the chamber, then use a vacuum hopper to collect crafted items. Would that work? Would you loose pressure since there are no doors to open?
I remember loving this mod in 1.12, but it absolutely destroyed my frame rate….. hoping this is better or that my better PC can run it better now. My favorite was having the automatic doors on my room
Why does JEI searchbar doubleclick not working? I can't search big chests... I remember that nifty feature, it is still in FTB wiki on JEI page. But I don't see any difference when doubleclicking it.
I feel starting a mod based around pressure and not doing it in an underwater base of some sort seems like lost potential. I'll admit that's a lot of time and effort into a gimmick, can't blame him for his standard organic approach.
i really dislike this mod, blowing up your resources before you even get anything from it, no thanks. the time it takes to do anything in this mod is ridiculous. and there are plenty of actually good mods that can do what it does so why bother with the super long wait times and janky insufferable mechanics? anyway, that's just my take on it.
