2019 UPDATE: Hello, everyone! I'd like to thank all of you for your kind support. The series will continue under my current project Forgotten Dawn. I've recently made a playlist I hope gets enough visibility by old and new fans alike. Please, subscribe to Forgotten Dawn as this channel is no longer active. Make sure to click on that bell for instant notifications. Thanks again for your attention! Sound like silent hill music. It's always good to remember that we are not immortal, however our souls are. But to keep death as your closest friend always keeps things in perspective. It allows a person to live more in the moment. The music was soothing and sad, yet heavily trippy. Well done.
Man,you're making a revolution in a doom metal! U're creating a new stream in doom metal music! It sound so brand new fresh and different!. I really adore this!
KK, I have no idea who you are and have never heard anything you've done until now..but I have to say that I'm impressed! This is a great piece of etherial ambient music.
I've been listening to this track (as well as your "Atmospheric Funeral Doom Metal experiment 2" song) on repeat whenever I've gone to bed over the past two or three weeks, as I find both tracks very calming and therapeutic. I'm also interested in composing some of my own ambient/atmospheric music in the near future, so your songs have also served as a source of inspiration for me. Thanks! - Shaun (New Zealand)
Such great material man! I dunno, but your music makes me feel kind of depressive but at the same time happy. It has a great impact on me! Keep on rocking dude. Cheers from Mexico City
I had an old drone I made by stretching some pads to like- 30 minutes, and that served as the background for this track. Then I added some more pads for the melody (the abstract choir you hear). Hope you liked it ;) KKS
I actually want to try an experiment like that, too. Take a lame pop song, stretch the audio, and then add heavy guitars and drums and turn it into drone-doom.
@gleb202 Surprising, considering that I abandoned this concept a year ago. Who knows, probably it'll be used by other artists as well, although I can't say right now if this atmosphere will be available under another form or context. :) Thanks for your kind comment, KKS
@gothicmetalfreak Yeah, those are great projects. Although pretty minimalist, UDOM influenced me a bit, but this track was made months before I listened to the band. Shape of Despair is just great. Thanks for your comment :) KKS
I usually work on my own, rarely doing some collaborations although I'm always open for such projects. ^^ Thank you for your support and enjoy my other works as well. KKS
Thank you, I'm glad it made such an impact on you. :) Feel free to check my ambient stuff and Forgotten Dawn for more music. Thank you for your support. //KKS
No, I think it's more Neoclassical Symphonic Death Claustrophobic Punk Cheesy Depressive Ominous Vaginal Black Grind Smooth Blues Rockabilly. :) Jazz too. KKS
I feel a lot more accomplished when I look at those albums rather than these two videos, as I think there's a lot more thought behind it. These on the other hand are that part of me that I wish to forget, and that's the reason I'm very reluctant about making more of this crap. Anyway, you can find me on Forgotten Dawn now, making cinematic/experimental music. Alright, drama lesson over. Enjoy whatever, people.
@MistressBathory1987 Never thought this would have fans :O I'll reconsider what I said earlier, and who knows, maybe I'll make either an EP or a demo. Thanks for your support! KKS
I don't make distinctions between "serious" or less serious projects. For me, they're all experiments and the only difference is how I perceive depth in them. My last "funeral doom" project is a demo called "Oneiros", which is also on youtube and bandcamp for download. Go check it out if you're interested, otherwise just wait until I release something new with this style. :) KKS
It can be anything, really. :) They're just names after all, according to people's individual perceptions and tastes. Thank you for your comment, I will check your tracks soon. KKS
It's doomy yet oddly reassuring and relaxing! I like it - i've done a more depraved doom metal keyboard soundtrack to be released next year - you ever done one with ironic major notes on top of the main minors?
As I said, they're just names. :) I couldn't care less about this being called ambient or whatever, and I find genre names humorous and superfluous. ^^ KKS
I've heard the drum and guitar simulation of course. Anyways, the most important thing that we ejnoy the music itself. But you can search back for the full conversation about this in the comments to see my detailed opinion. What a pity that youtube don't handles comments better.
Thanks man, much appreciated. Feel free to check my albums and Forgotten Dawn which is basically my current project. :) I'm on youtube, soundcloud, newgrounds and bandcamp, so enjoy!
Hey this is great, you are not the only one loving Funeral Doom but want to do something "new" with it. I recently started a project called BOW and it is much in the same vain as your music.
:) KKS
