i'm not ever going to watch another racket review that fails to compare the racket to at least 3 other rackets. this is extremely useful.

This is probably the first review I ever watched that a reviewer said the racquet is outright bad, this is the type of honesty we need! We all know racquet is quite a personal thing so just say it outright. My game style is closer to Alice's so I value her optinion more.

Yes, Yonex racquets do have one of the best if not the best quality control. I used to use Wilson and there was one stick that I love, but when it broke, I could not find another stick that matched that "feel." Yonex racquets, I find have great quality, every Yonex is nearly identical. The other brand for me that had similar quality control was Prince. I tried Babolot, and they have good quality control, but I could not control the power and for the control racquets, I cannot get enough power.

And again, Yonex for the win. Not mentioned though, was the quality control of Yonex. Miles ahead of the Made in China sticks. A professional will want to have several sticks, and getting them from the factory to be nearly identical is a huge benefit to a pro.
@allthingstennis
@allthingstennis Год назад
Agreed the quality control is the best. We dont want to lead the pro in any direction on the day, super important info for the consumer though agreed!
@blaynewilson1549
@blaynewilson1549 Год назад
Getting them from the factory to be nearly identical is huge for an amateur/ club player. Pros will more than likely customize all their rackets either with a company or on their own (adding lead, silicone in the handle etc) anyways so having them as close to same spec as possible isn't a big deal. Amateurs who are more likely to use the frame stock from factory benefit the most from quality control. Although amateurs are probably far less likely to notice the subtle differences between two rackets that are just a few grams of each other

@@allthingstennis for a starting point maybe. But to judge the racquet, you have to use the "racquet compatible" string and tension. A lifetime would be enough for that not a short or long playtest :D
