There is a suggestion to drop gender separation and then divide into a type of classing of ability. That would definitely insult women in many many sports. On average, and at elite sports, men are faster, stronger, quicker and will go a further distance in what I think is most sport. So women will have representation at the elite level. Men and women should be different catagories and transgenders should all be in with men or have a completely different event with no government assistance.
That will only happen on games where his 1st serve percentage is low though. This video is stupid because the specific serves it shows would typically have beaten even the likes of Djokovic.
WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! Let me get this perfectly straight: You comment something that is completely unrelated to the fact that I have two HAZARDOUSLY HOT girlfriends? Considering that I am the unprettiest RU-vidr worldwide, it is really incredible. Yet you did not mention it at all. I am VERY disappointed, dear jj
@@sushilsarwadnya3819 I know that, but why do guys like nadal and djokovic stand yards behind the baseline when these guys are serving? To give themselves a bit extra time to read the serve and react. Let's b honest, they are not going to serve aces each time .
@@paigehere5176 1 yes everyone is saying that saw your deleted comment 2 the point that men are the dominant ones at everything, from cooking, horse riding and all other kinds of activities
space0d oh yeah not send a 200mph ball to a woman is suCh a chivalrous thing to do. oh wow! thank u for doing the bare minimum expected of u wowowow men r amazing for choosing not to hit women when they can choose not too?! wowowowo
The male dominated patriarchy is denying female players faster serves. Those male tennis players exhibit crazy amounts of toxic masculinity, how dare they exert their fullest level of competence on the job?
I mean, who is claiming that the fact men are physically stronger than women is socially constructed...? Satire doesn’t really work if you don’t even listen properly to/comprehend the argument you’re mocking lol
I remember reading how Isner's kick serves at the University of Georgia would literally jump into the fence making it impossible for receivers to touch it. The trajectory was just absurd.
A lot of players are catching up with the glitch nowadays. Cheat code: "I identify as a female" - only work for male players though. Not sure when they're gonna provide the security patch though...
Lol remember when Serena said she could beat any man at like top 50 or whatever then the out of his prime and out of shape 40 year old ranked 200+ 40 year old guy completely demolished her and her sister without breaking a sweat
@@sirlightning3920 and? Girls are physically mature at 16 They literally start going down hill at 19 (A 19 year old female has the lungs of a 50 year old man- and it just gets worse for them from there)
It does when they think that Serena should be paid like she's number 1 when she's maybe number 700. They want equality of pay and treatment, EVEN WHEN there is no equality of productivity or results.
Actually, there is equality of productivity as certain players in the WTA produce more revenue for the sport than some men do. For example, many women players sell merchandise such as tennis racquets, tote bags, wrist/head bands, apparel, shoes, key chains, calendars, shirts, jackets, water bottles, etc. Some of the top male players do not begin to sell as much merchandise as these women do. Thus, the sport benefits from the WTA's success as the revenue from these non-sport activities trickle down to some extent to the players of both genders.
Lets be real guys, this serves were 75/80% of his best, this was a joke, and for anyone that thinks that maybe WTA player can beat ATP player, you're out if your mind.
1:30 a journalist told McEnroe that Serena was considered the best tennis player EVER among men and women. And McEnroe was criticized for saying thats nonsense lol.
@@HelloWorld-ev9sgbest on feeding these feminists egos😂😂 She herself admitted and even once got beaten by a low rank player … but tou know feminists… they don’t have any points .. but all blah .. blah… It would be interesting if one of these feminists face them on turf🤷🏽♂️
i dont think shed beat any man on the pro tour TBH. maybe if theres someone with both an extremely basic serve and very little spin in his groundstrokes within that 1000-2000, shed may have a shot. otherwise im not seeing it. the average shot on the mens tour is just so much heavier, the women cant handle that spin because they never play against it and so they dont really practice against it either. if you really wanted to see how a top WTA player could rank against professional men youd have to have her actually practice specifically for that for several months at least, and obviously no ones going to do that.
serena and venus lost a match against a german atp pro male player back in 1998 .each of them played a set against him. the pro male player was ranked 203 at the time.they thought they can win a match over a male whos rank is somewhere around 200 after they saw them practicing. the final result was 6-1 6-2 . obviosly they cant win a match against a top 100 atp player
also, the way he tells it, karsten braasch (the guy they played against) wasnt even trying. it simply doesnt make sense to try and compare ATP to WTA players
Just think about how low is break of opponents serve rate is compared to other players who have similar amount of wins you can see how many service games he holds
This is like playing against someone in mortal kombat who spams the same button over and over to prevent you from even getting up; eventually leading to them winning, I love it.
@@thomasdendtler4077 By people I mean the funny looking academic world that says obesity is healthy and live in a rainbow world. 😂😂 And yeah, I know iam right.
Yes. But if Serena had the upper body strength and height of male players she would wipe the floor with them anyway, as mentally-wise they're all weaklings compared to her. Watching men like him take pride in something as meritless as being taller and having more upper body strength than female players gives me 2nd hand embarrassment; it's pathetic.
To be fair, Isner is an acing machine even against ATP players. There's a reason he was involved in long matches all the time. Nobody can break his serve.
@@ConnorC97 the top 300 ranked mam beat the top ranked female player 6-1 then 6-0. It's estimated that the greatest female player would rank in the 700s, of mens college rankings
It's very different though, women go for broke on every shot, men do not, they generally build up the point more. I would like to see men go for broke every shot, I don't think any would reach Serena's accuracy. But yeah, no female is gonna beat a man with great stamina and a solid serve. I don't think anyone with a medium serve like say Goffin would be able to bagel Serena though, she would likely still win her service games rather easily because her serve might be slower than a mens serve, it has a lot more accuracy than a mens serve.
I'm a guy and honestly the men are better than women thing is just an ego stroker. ever look up how tall Serena Williams is? if you check you'll find out hes a 1 ft and an inch taller than nearly every WTA player.
Federer, Nadal, Sampras, Agassi, Borg, Rosewall, Laver, Mcenroe are around 5-10 cm taller than serena they are the greatest tennis players of all time, very few tennis players that are taller than 190cm has ever won a grand slam let alone are considered great at all. Also the player with the strongest service game is Ivo Karlovic.
Yes. Oxford Dictionary: "Either of the two sexes (male and female), especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones."
To be fair, Isner's kick serve would probably kick above most players' overhead reach. I once remember a stat where a first serve kicked up 2.25 m or nearly 7'5", so the second is surely much worse.
Chris Evert was asked if she took it easy on her husband John Lloyd when they practiced together. She was No2 and he was about 700. She said she cant even return his serves let alone win a rally.
karsten Brash, ranked 203 at the time, beat the Williams sisters one afternoon after a beer or 2 and a few cigarettes. How could ANY female tennis player EVER fathom that women can compete with men given the same training? I mean here they're facing a guy that never even Broke into the top 10 (Isner: highest ranking was #14). WNBA and Women's Soccer, I hope y'all are watching this.
To be fair, Isner was probably leading the entire tour in aces at this point, and he won a lot of sets 7-6. So it wasn't just the women that couldn't return his serve. And isner is basically this whole video.
See the craziest part about this video is that mixed doubles happens to this day, whole section of United cup was mixed doubles, and women returned serve damn well during it. Pegula was damn near better at it than tiafoe in their match against Germany lmao. This was literally just isner in doubles
yes, they are equal, but they are not the same... the worst men's tennis player would easily beat the #1 ranked women's tennis player... not saying men are better... just saying they are better lol - would you put a heavy weight boxing female champion against a heavy weight men champion to fight together?...of course not.
+Arienette69 Of course the would. Serena has no chance against no 1000 ATP. Men have so many advantages over women in tennis. Muscle mass, better eye sight , better reflexes, stiffer competition - just to name a few.
I would love to watch a top ranked female player play against a lower ranked male player in "mixed singles". No handicaps, no holding back, singles court only, best of 3 match. Id pay to see that
number 1000 in the world (men) would have beaten serena williams in her prime 6-0 6-0 when he plays 100& professional. Maybe she would win one game when he has fairness. That s the reality
The big 4 aliens made John Isner's serve look like easy to break but for humans definitely it's not that easy. That serve is monstrous. If he is landing anywhere near 70% of his 1st serve then the guy on the other side really has a very hard day at work.
I can remember a debate with a feminist who said "there is no that great difference", well at the end she challenged me to run a race. I have to say some facts, she used to run every morning and she was in a noticeable good shape. On the other hand I am lazy, with several years without any training and I love pizza and hamburguers and I have some belly fat, I won the 200mts race for almost 3 mts of advantage.
Men on here: “haha man superior!” The guy you used as an example is a servebot giant who does the same thing to the top men, who can rarely even more fast enough before the ball is already past them.
Men's and women's tennis is two separate games. The 100th ranked man would win every WTA tournament he entered and wouldn't drop a game in the process.
Opelka is pretty good. Depends if you mean consistency, amound of aces etc. Opelka"s serve is legendary. Isner has the record for like 113 aces in one match. But I"ll argue Federer has one of the serves, with every aspect except power. His second serve is very annoying.
I was just thinking about it today while watching an ATP match, some of those serves were WILD. Honestly I'm not sure how as a woman and as a human I can return those serves. I really do salute for the top players, especially the big 4. Their lvl is almost inhuman
respect though to the women going out there to face that serve and find any points they can. the commentators said it, you have to guess, and even if you're right you've got two opponents at the net to beat. Isner is a monster
1:37 - Serena pretending to laugh it off, but really crying in her mind...remember, she was the one who challenged to beat any guy with ranking lower than 200 only to be humbled.
"Collection of the best ATP servers serving some WTA players during Hopman Cup matches + funny reactions :-)" You guys should read the description. But even so, it's not like the uploader is creating a debate. The debate is already settled: we all know if women could compete with men, they would. If they could stand 5hour 5 set games, they would.
Pretty sure Raonic, Karlovic, Opelka, Anderson, Kyrgios, Federer, Del Potro, Berrettini, or Zverev (when he passes his first) would produce the same results. And in the video you had Pospisil serving too.
