Hi Matt - There is stabilizing effect on a SE when flaps and gear are extended and you can maintain vyse. You can do this at the FAF or at GS intercept, but you’ll never know when your instructor will fail an engine!
@@loveairplanes_stars haha yes! I'm working on MEI at the moment in a Seminole. And I meant to say a dot below GS intercept with gear and flaps as in any normal approach. Where are you located?
@@loveairplanes_stars Good morning David, I have another Seminole question - I've been reviewing performance charts and on the Fuel, Time, and Distance to Climb chart, the example shows Fuel to climb: 2.5 minus 1.0 = 1.5 gallons, Time to climb: 4.5 minus 1.2 = 3.3 min and Distance to climb: 7 minus 1.4 = 5.6 NM. Where are they getting the 1.0, 1,2 and 1.4 and why is it being subtracted? Thank you
@@mattrobinson4994 Checking my seminole poh they are finding the difference between the departure airport pressure alt and the cruise pressure altitude with the numbers you have listed.
