Satur-morning, Tues-afternoon etc, '42 is a great number' insane, genius hilarity, damn I love your ramblings, and the ambulance crash! No wonder I've been watching for years!!! 😂😂😂
Great find with that hidden, hidden road. Zilla the Hidden Rd King! Love the new ATS achievement focus and defo need to up the quota stats. New truck looking good there as well. Nice chilled drive for me, thanks!
Slight correction for myself. I should have said Arkansas is a French *transliteration* of an Algonquin name for the Quapaw people, not translation. Different thing. Sorry :).
Sas & we have Birmingham with silent h, the quirks of the English language. Roswell could be aliens rather than drivers. Forget Scotland could you go to the Windies, Cuba or Haiti? Another fun episode. Many thanks
Best way that ive found to get money quickly is to upgrade high value cargo and long distance. Then try to find jobs hauling boomlifts on a flatbed. It doesn't hurt to upgrade just in time delivery as well
Owning your own trailers is key. I've never really prioritized making money in the game, as it seems to eventually take care of itself, but it's definitely possible to go much much faster that I have in this career. :)
@ZillaBlitzPC True enough. Plus I'm sure it's also harder for you to make the videos and have the time to do the longer trips that pay the most money. Although I must say I did really enjoy when you did the long trip going north to Alaska with c2c installed. If you had the time those videos would be cool now and then for a big paying job in base game. Then you could break the recording session into separate videos ending a video with you pulling over for gas, sleep, a viewpoint, ect... It would be cool now and then but I know it would be a lot more of a hassle and a lot more time consuming. The bright side though, you get a week or two worth of videos for a single recording session
@ZillaBlitzPC it is pretty easy to make money in the game though. My current game save I'm not even using hired drivers. I just spend all of my money on new garages, trailers, and occasionally a new truck. Even with no hired drivers money isn't an issue. I just take a high paying long haul once and a while. Other than that though I play pretty similar to you. Hunting hidden roads, achievements, and maybe one day seeing my map covered in yellow lines. I'm also in the same boat with a lot of my states missing 1 or 2 cities/viewpoints to be discovered. I just try to grab them on long hauls though and try to focus mainly on new states or the states that I hadn't explored much of. Like I didn't buy any of the northwest until about the time KS & OK came out so I have a lot of exploring to do there
Actually you may be able head to Scotland in the future as there is Scotland South Dakota when they put it in the game. I have never in all my time in both truck simulators had a car follow me through a blocked road... it was kinda funny. November makes sense. As the Arkansas challenge ends, we have the Halloween event, so I imagine the update and possibly the next state will be coming about the time that ends.
Scotland South Dakota will be ours! Nice! ~ And yeah, that was a bit bonkers. I recall having it happen once before in ETS2 at night I believe. I wonder if the traffic spawns in behind you rather than follows you. I was on the blocked off section of road for quite a while both times when it happened.
When I first read Arkansas I pronounced it as you might have if you've never seen the word before. I never linked is with it's actual pronunciation (which I knew, but it just didn't click)...unfortunately, this was quite recently, and there may well be a RU-vid video of me doing this!!
Even if you don’t record it, you should treat yourself to a drive around San Francisco and explore the neighborhoods below the Golden Gate Bridge (hidden roads?…)
Today I was taking a job from Little rock to McAllister and on the same intersection where u got a detour I also had to do a detour but I did it because it was very tight but also if u want ur drivers to be better look at every driver u have and there should be a skill bar and u can see their skills and when their skill is pretty low change their focus to whatever they need to work on instead of keeping it balanced and when the bar is full you can focus them on another skill so they can be more efficient
Me as a long distance truck driver, as for crazy I might be, I just think about regular stuff, stuff like what I just listed to on siriusxm about whats happening to the trucking industry and whats going on in the economy. Or what load I might be getting next, or about the shipper or receiver what I need to do there once I get there. And If I’m tired I jam out to music. Or might listen to talk shows or audiobooks if not too tired. Or I just think about my wife and the 2 Siberian Huskies we got. Sure do miss everyone at home when I gone for weeks at a time.
If you want to listen to copyright music while recording the way I do it is I wear raycon earbuds under my headset. That way I can put it on awareness mode and still hear the game on my headset and I can listen to spotify on my ear buds. Also I can hear when I get notifications on my phone while my headset is on
Nice Video. I was wondering why you dont pull your driving seat back. It will give you a better field of view and you can see your left side mirror. Also how do you call someone from Minnesota?
Good point. I probably should pull the seat back, actually. I think I eventually do, but I often forget when I get a new truck and just drive it around for a while before thinking, "Oh, I should adjust my seat." Thanks for the reminder. :)
Thanks @paul13gr for this tip! I was also driving the Pinnacle and noticed the mirrors were out of view. A quick F4 and touch left (J) and a touch back (F) and it’s all set. Takes some getting used to but not long and I can use the mirrors
You speaking about the money in the game, I haven’t seen a bank loan payment coming out for you in a while. Did you pay off the loans already? If not thats the first thing I would focus on, so when money does come in you don’t have to give none to that bank, just operate on cash bases, and once you get a few drivers working for you the cash will start to just roll in, and you will get to the point where you will have so much you won’t know what to do with it all.
Yes, the loans are all paid off now and yes, the money is really starting to roll in. At the end of the next episode, I've already got enough money to buy another truck. We'll be rich!
Oh, do the invisible walls actually damage your truck? I'm usually going slowly so I'm not sure I've suffered damage. I thought as well that the X's don't damage your truck either. I'm not sure, though.
Hey zilla love your vids, can i just ask, when they update the game do you have to start over again every time, when i reload the game after it updates and try to continue career it always says it can't do it, you can reload the profile but it says it won't work because obviously the mods are different too, hope you can give some info, thanks 👍🏻😊
I've been playing the same one save in ATS and ETS2 for 2-3 years now, so you shouldn't have to restart. :) However, you want to make sure that you update mods as needed, and if a mod no longer is updated, remove it from your profile. If you do that, you can ignore the warnings that pop up when you start the game again after the game gets updated. Hope this helps!
@@ZillaBlitzPC okay thanks for that, when it updated to 1.51, i started a new career, but now I'll just carry on with it after the next update cheers 👍🏻
I have two saves in each game. One is a very low mod game that I can use pretty much right away after any update. The other has a lot of map mods in it, and that one can take a while for me to be able to play after the game gets updated. :)
i m from India but i like your video pls use some trucks or bus mods in hair pin roads because in India many people plays ETS 2 and ATS and drives in that road in that turns many traffic will be there but pls try it and it would be intresting somepeople plays that in multiplayer too.... and by the way your new truck in ATS is good. can we use mods in ETS 2 because i bought ETS 2 in steam...
The driver who makes little money also could not have enough skills if the base city has highvalue or ADR as main cargo, needs a check the clarify the issue there. As a truckdriver i really needed to think what i think during driving. Usually i listen radio or spotify and judge stupid people on the road. Discontinued highway patrol and cutting the driving school lessons by half really shows on the road.
There are some mods with new trucks, free new trucks, in my mod lists. I've tested them and they work fine as far as I can tell in the current game version.
@@ZillaBlitzPC Of course! ATS is done. Working on ETS2 now. Pretty much every ATS mod is ready to go. Sierra Nevada is the lone exception. You can play without it until further notice.
