Welcome! I'm Zilla Blitz (Mike). Zilla Blitz PC is the spin-off channel from Zilla Blitz. If you like pc simulation games and strategy games, you'll enjoy this channel! In general, I focus on relaxing and having fun with games, and the goal is to share some of the joy of gaming to help you through the day.
This channel focuses on pc simulation games and strategy games, with Let's Plays, tutorials, and reviews. In particular, I like to play driving simulation games like American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, and pc strategy games like Crusader Kings 3. Additionally, As the channel grows, I'm looking to build in other simulation games, and I'm also aiming to create content for sports simulations like Football Manager and Out of the Park Baseball.

Haha, thanks! It always amazes me how sometimes this game is so calm and easy, and then the next run is like a tornado in a bottle and I'm like, "How did I get myself into this mess." Glad you're enjoying them, thanks for sharing. :)
My method for building up a business was always to drive for someone else, then when I get a truck I hire someone and keep driving other companies trucks. That way I always have one more income than I have trucks.
0:35, there is a hidden road if you continue driving straight ahead right past that recruitment agency, you can actually go through the centre of the town. That one is the only one i was able to find myself. I like you Mike, you're the coolest american i know, always smiling and so relaxed and with big heart. I believe you're a good man. We're sharing the same passion for games, ets 2 specifically here. I also admire your kindness replying to each comment. Btw I think that it's the ice and snow on the road causing that loss of control over the truck, it gets back to normal once you hit asphalt again. Keep up all the great work.

@@ZillaBlitzPC @ZillaBlitzPC yep, you missed that just by about an inch there. I was having a hard time making a turn, that's how i found out. I'm just sorry you can't see more of Europe from the game since you've never been there. I really believe that the people developing this should be a lot further along in the game, after all it's been over a decade since the game has been out. I stopped playing sometime in 2018, then in 6 whole years you come back only to see that the city centres look authentic but still not 100%, I think they really take too long. As far as I know they are from the Czech Republic just like me. Anyway, you look at games with a healthy attitude, for fun, and you're not one of those addicts who won't move away from them, I like that too
Some places you should definitely put on the to do list in modded parts of the game (some recently added or changed, some just awesome): Longyearbyen in Svalbard, the entire E6 route through Norway, Damascus, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, al-Nukhayb in Iraq, Amman in Jordan, Gaza if you choose to add Project Palestine to the mix (really just do a MIddle-East tour haha), Poti and Kutaisi in Georgia, Moscow, the Kazakhstan/Uzbekistan border, Uralsk in Kazakhstan, Ashgabat in Turkmenistan, Seoul, Mogadishu, Port Sudan, Tripoli, The Gambia in general, and when the JRR mod eventually releases (the mod is taking a while haha), Jakarta.
This is a great bucket list of places to see and explore. Sounds like the Middle East has a lot to offer. I'm excited to check out Norway next, although I want to find some of those hidden roads in Iceland first. :)

Oh, very glad you found this one! I should probably make an announcement on the old channel now and then about the new channel. It seems like I get a lot of questions from people who don't realize that I split things up. In any case, glad you're here! :)
I'm not sure yet how things have changed for ATS in version 1.50, but I'll be installing it in a few days. In general there are things like Jerry's fullscreen map mod that you put at the very top of your load order, but I'm not 100% sure of the specifics yet. I just got back from vacation and updated ETS2 yesterday. I'll do ATS next. :)
Nuuk was added in the latest version of ProMods, so you're seeing VERY new mapping from them. The quality just keeps improving over time, just like with SCS.
If you're planning to add Beyond, Heart of Africa, and Horn of Africa, that will add a ton of really diverse areas to the game. Wholeheartedly recommend it. Though add SibirMap too if you're planning to head toward The Great Steppe. Kirov Map is definitely worth adding to Russia as well. Altai Map... honestly I haven't driven there yet. I've heard good things but I have no personal review of it. What do you think of the new background map that covers more area and has the colored view of the world? I didn't like it at first but I've really warmed up to it.
I definitely want to add Africa, it sounds so cool. So those are the three mods that I need (Beyond, Heart of Africa, and Horn of Africa) to be able to drive from the top to the bottom of Africa? I saw there were some combo patch mods in your list as well.
@@ZillaBlitzPC Not quite top to bottom. To get all the way to South Africa you'd need Road into Wilderness, but I don't recommend it. It's very inaccurate and copy paste. Heart is Senegal and The Gambia, and Horn is Somalia and... I think maybe a bit of Kenya? Not sure. But they're both very good quality. And Beyond is a combination of Road to Asia and Road to Africa, and VERY strong quality, like their Caribbean is for ATS. They'll need a few patches and road connections too but everything should be laid out in the spreadsheet. If you have any questions I'm always around haha.

If you do choose to use Road Into Wilderness, you'd need the following extra mods: Beyond+RIW Fix RIW to Beyond RC RIW Horn of Africa RC Heart of Africa Fix (RIW Addon) RIW to Heart of Africa RC RIW (Road into Wilderness) RIW models All the links can be found in the Quantity mod build in my spreadsheet. Place them in that exact order, below ProMods Assets and above Heart of Africa Fix.

For a while there I believed you were going make a loss on this trip, some quick with the ticket police. Nice to see this back, Hope you enjoyed your break.
I think the final profit might only have been 6-7k, counting all the tickets, repairs, and ferry fees, but it was a fun drive. :) Fun to be back, now to get a nice consistent run of playing and video creation. I hope things are well with you. :)
If you are staying in the mountainous area you should invest to tandem drive axle once it is available. Extra power no use if you don't have traction to put it on the road.
there is a very cool secret road that goes down the middle of iceland you need to find the 'stein bruch' company in the middle of iceland then there is a road next to it that is very bumpy and it takes you to akureyri.
YES! Finally, I have been waiting for the next episode in the series for so long! And yes the airport in Ísafjörður is real and is shown pretty accurately in the game
Hey Zilla, consider getting the Discover Ontario and Bonjour Quebec mods. It makes the Ontario and Quebec areas more detailed (you also need the Great Mid North Expansion road connection to Discover Ontario) (all of these are found on truckymods)
I love this game! I was very briefly #1 on the leaderboards, although to be fair that is more a measure of how much I played rather than how good I was. It absolutely nails that mix of being relaxing and stressful at the same time. The story is ok, not really that great, but the end is quite good.
Nice work getting to #1! I really enjoyed this game as well, but it just didn't feel like it made for the best video content. Some games are fun to play but not quite the same for creating videos for. :)
For version 1.49, there are a couple of additional mods that prevent crashes when you have a number of map mods installed. I'm not sure yet how it works with version 1.50 yet, though, as I'm just starting to update my map mods, but it looks like these two mods: Jerry's Fullscreen Maps (ATS) (v1.50-1.0) North America Background Map (v1.5.2)
