Suicidal maniac manipulated people to betray chewy so that he would join the Port Mafia and has sort of just been manipulating him while also growing closer to him like the tiger and the lung disease. Haven't like manipulated each other as much and like they were enemies at first but then they got closer cuz they had to be paired together and stuff
Ok but I would like to remind u that the ppl of sheep were also using him. Dazai didn't rlly like that part. He's even willing to give chuuya a choice even in dire situations like that one time he asked for chuuya's decision even tho it was seconds before having Yokohama destroyed.

Well I don't think Soukoku it's toxic (Dazai is a walking red flag, no doubt) because no matter the situation, Dazai has always given Chuuya opportunities to choose, as in Stormbringer when using corruption for the first time and they trust each other a lot despite to be in other organizations. It seems to me that in Fifteen Dazai saw an opportunity to have a friend to have fun with, so he enjoyed his time with Chuuya, because apparently he was the only kid in the Port Mafia, the problem is that Chuuya didn't take his time to be a kid 😭
