Attaching a Wah Pedal to Your Pedalboard

A simple how to video for installing a Dunlop Crybaby Wah Pedal to your pedalboard. The Velcro just won't cut it. This is an easy soloution that does not involve a pedalock or stagetrix wah fastener. All you'll need is a drill and bit.
What you'll need:
-Small/Medium Philips or star head screwdriver
-Power drill
-Drill bit (matching the screw holes on the crybaby)
-Velcro strip (for pedal board)
What I'm using:
-Pedaltrain Classic Jr.
-Dunlop Crybaby Wah

Thanks for the video. Will the Wah pedal not go onto the pedal board normally with Velcro without having to drill it and make modifications to the pedal? I'd prefer it in its original state unaltered.

I found that unless you have some pretty hefty Velcro it will fall off (mainly in transport). Also, the rubber feet can be a problem with the crybaby. By drilling it in I saved some space as opposed to having to place the feet between the spaces. IMO Velcro is the worst. I’m working on some better ideas at the moment. Thank you for watching!

Nice video, loved the cognac surprise 😊 One trick with these Crybaby Wha pedals is that the screws for the feet are regular #6-32 UNC screws, which are very common in PC cases, e.g. flat head variant such as this one en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_case_screws#/media/File:PCscrew6-32-large.jpg With such a flat head the velcro should be able to provide grip -- at least if doubled. Thanks for that! I wanted it on there permanently as I will never take it off. Ps, the cognac did not help my accuracy with the drill. There’s a hole in my floor... BUT THE CRYBABY IS ON!

Me screws on my wah arent long enough to do this. Wont atart threading. Same pedal. Thoughts?

Replace the screws. Take one of the rubber ends with you and go to Home Depot. Or get new screws and regular washers.

Not sure what you mean. I can now report that I've had this on there since the video with no trouble. Civilizations will crumble, but this will remain attached to my board.

Maybe just flip the crybaby back and velcro to the silver side to avoid damaging the factory font, for those who care about those details.

I wont be selling this stock pedal anytime soon. Velcro is not good enough for a pedal of this weight. Empires will fall, gods will be forgotten, infinite sons will rise and set….AND MY WAH WILL REMAIN ON THE BOARD!!

Why the hell are you making life so difficult for yourself? I've had a BBE ben wah on my board for 3 months and it's attached by four little squares of velcro - one on each of the rubber feet. My board gets stored upright when not in use and it has not dropped off. Try the EASY way first. :)

Thanks for the advice. I’ll stick with my method. I’m done with Velcro if I can help it. 2 screws.
