Not gonna lie I was expecting a Someday Came Suddenly Approach but instead got a new age metalcore sound (not even a 09 sound). Nevertheless it’s alright. Glad to see them back. Someday Came Suddenly will always be there for me to enjoy 😊

Not to mention it was literally only like one song to tease their return. People just seem to complain way too much and should be glad that the band is at least back in some form. We haven't even heard the rest of the music yet and people just love to jump too quickly into conclusions and this is pretty much why we can't have nice things. I loved the OG AA! and was a big Chris Parketny fan in Nine Shrines so I guess I can see this as a win.

I think the problem is people coming in with high expectations. This is basically a new band, theyre experimenting a bit, we have to come in with low expectations so we will be happier with it. I dont mean to come off rude but I also dont get why people hate change. I mean, I love almost every sound of a band I like I dont get why others have to hate on it. I love this new sound, I never was into their old stuff but this new singer has a fire voice. People should research the singer before dissing him in a band hes new in so they dont come in with high expectations of what the band used to be.

This kinda sounds like a bridge between Self-titled and This Means War, which is honestly what I was expecting. I really dig it, but that having been said the flow of the song feels very safe... A lot of traditional peaks and valleys in terms of how the song plays out. Hopefully when more songs get out there in the world we get to see the band color outside of the proverbial lines rather than inside of them. Congrats on the new song guys! Here's to Attack Attack! becoming a staple in the music scene once more!

Honestly, it would be better without the Breakdown, as a very solid electronic Posthardcore entry. They've got good talent in the band, and I think if they focus on being innovative like the original Attack Attack! was back in 2007/2008, we can get a lot of good things out of this lineup. Bring in some 808's like Bilmuri's been experimenting with and combine them with EDM and Synthwave.

I was around 10 years old when Attack Attack broke up, I caught the very tail end of the crabcore era, only because my older brother was in middle school at this time. I was stoked to see them play in my hometown just a couple weeks ago! I can't express just how much joy it brought me to see them play live in my hometown!!!
