Wyatt brought up a huge point, people got their hopes up so high, granted the band hyped up crabcore but they say the future will bring heavier stuff. But the point made is that the band needs to rebuild and find their grounding and this single really does well in doing that, it got/gets radio play, it got the scene talking, this did exactly what it was meant to do. Now we wait for heavier things in the future.

Did you ever listen to Jamie’s Elsewhere? I know they didn’t go as big as a lot of other bands but they were really good esp their album They Said A Storm Was Coming. Anyways they’ve reunited with Aaron Pauley from Of Mice and Men, should check them out and do a vid on the new song if you don’t mind :) Maybe you know the band already idk, just trying to lay it all out haha. Actually Caleb was in Attack Attack from the first album. He was the keyboardist before he took over as main vocalist after Austin was kicked out. Caleb was 17 during the stick sticky video

They brought on the Phil Druyor from “I Am Abomination” in 2013 and started working on a new album but it ended up getting delayed and eventually canned. And also the songs with “Attack Attack we back again baby” was “Fumbles o’brian” from the self titled album.

To each their own but I was into the OG Metalcore bands like - Killswitch Engage, All That Remains,and Shadows Fall - rather then this "brand" of metalcore. I liked some of their stuff but I had other interests. That said, it would be hard to claim that these guys didn't create a sub-genre of Metalcore and they were HIGHLY influential (crabcore and scene Metalcore) or they lacked talent, I can "not be a huge fan" of a style or band but still be able to recognize why they are popular and realize that they have talent and why they are well liked! They were/are clearly quality songwriters and though others took their template and became more "commercially successful" if there was no "Attack Attack!" there's a good chance the bands that followed would either have not made it or likely would have sounded quite different! (There are SO many great songwriters who never get heard it's criminal!)

This band was as if Metallica and Disturbed had a baby, and that babie was raised by every metal group ever assembled and its nannies were Gojira and Trivium and its godfather is Rob Zombie! Check them out! In this order the songs: SAW REDFOG OPEN EYE. Good place to start! This is for anyone sleeping on this group! Criminally underrated and some of the best metal I've ever heard!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟 Enjoy peeps!
