This one is a bit shorter than my usual videos, I am trying to cut down the length of the content where I can but I still want to keep my longer format videos for most occasions. 45 minutes maximum I am aiming for now for the main content like this.
Here we are, taking a look at another GOOPHONE. Seriously why do they call these "GOOPHONES"...no idea.
But this one was found at e-waste for $10. It can't be THAT bad right?
I mean someone THREW this away at e-waste, in it's box, with everything. Who would do such a thing?
Well...in this video you will find out why someone would've thrown this heap of garbage out.
At least I managed to get it working :)
I do have some other "GOOPHONES", mostly iPhone clones. I can show them off one day...but then I should complete the iPhone Clone Month almost a year and a half later :\

Oh man, reminds me of the time my cousin got a clone Samsung Galaxy S4 and was adamant that it was an original one. Even my Samsung Galaxy Ace performed better than it 😆

Oh the Galaxy Ace was very good when it was new. I remember a friend still rocking one in 2016 and it was barely functional - lagging while unlocking and dialing, when someone called him, the ringtone was audible before the screen lit up and showed the buttons to accept or decline, and had to be charged 2-3 times a day.

@@HeX341 Oh I can attest to it being shit! That thing lagged like there was no tomorrow. And I got the i-version which was supposed to have a slightly better processor. Custom roms were rare and the only thing that worked half decent was CyanogenMod 7.2, which made things a tad better. I used mine for only a year or so and upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Core 2 in 2014. What sucked the most was that I had to choose between the Galaxy Ace and an Xperia Play, and I chose the Ace cause it was a bit cheaper. I learnt the hard lesson of not cheaping out that day. Gotta give it some credit tho as it was very similar to an iPhone 4 and the screen and camera were magnificent for what they were.

The firmware version on this phone isn't 5.1.1 or 6.0, it's actually 4.2.2 or 4.4.2

I’m pretty sure I have a galaxy S5 clone made by the exact same company. It was actually given to me, but the only way I could tell it was a knock off is that the charging port cover doesn’t have a water seal around it, and the home button looks a little different. But it still has that same gravelly sounding vibration motor. And that speaker, Man that speaker is just awful, I’ve heard smart watches with better speakers LOL. But cool video all the same.

I wish I would have found out about you before I bought one of these knockoff clones:-). Your videos are enjoyable and I'm learning a lot about how not to be dumb:-). It seems that banggood tries to be honest in their advertising for the most part. But Ozon out-And-Out lie to it's customers. This is kind of surprising to me because I have encountered quality merchandise here in Russia before but I don't remember out-and-out lies about specifications.

oh man the nostalgia still remember a friend of mine bought a galaxy s3 clone back in 2012 and it has a legit amoled lcd , because i could see the actual blue ting of the samsung amoled at that time i was 13 years old and boi i remembered it clearly more than the faces and the names of my friends at that time 🤣🤣🤣

IMEI number of this phone corresponds to Samsung 740SC. Samsung Flip phone released in 2009. I'm suspecting, goophone actually recycles old IMEIs from another phones. They've done the same thing when their iPhone 7 Plus IMEIs showed up as an iPhone 5S

Here just to share that original Samsung chargers for some European regions indeed have Russian text on them. Yes, the WISH ones are very international, in English they say MADE IN VIETNAM while in the same time in Russian it's written MADE IN CHINA, but still, a good touch they wrote it down both in EN and RU :D

These chinese clone phones are a goddamn plague in the third world, if you wanna get an old flagship you run into nothing but these things, and the worst part is that they are IDENTICAL to the real ones, but once you turn them on it's obvious that the screen is barely 720p, has maybe 1GB of RAM and it runs android marshmalllow/nougat, yet the specs on system settings say otherwise. And of course, if you run CPU-Z the app itself will tell you it's fake, but the average person won't know that and will happily pay the $350 they ask for say, a S20, when it's barely worth $50. I learned my lesson a couple years ago with a Moto Z3, i had to literally stalk the guy who sold it to me, wait in line for HOURS then settle for a beat up yet legitimate Moto G5+, which definitely wasn't worth $200. My very next phone was a Redmi Note 7 which cost me $150 on aliexpress and still works to this day, helps that lineageOS supports it.

Only once when I bought phone from hands I got deceived in a good way. Seller told me it got only 1 GHz and only after couple days I looked up in the internet and realised that it's actually dualcore and believe me, it was noticeable difference: I had 1 GHz single core tablet at that same time with exact screen resolution and performance felt like x2 in a phone's favour

at the right moment when that "thing" got to the homescreen i started laughing my ass off... i actually said that's android 4.2 since i have a phone with that android version lol. also i had some bad touchwiz flashback, i hated that ui so much. last thing, the frame looks like a s4/s5 with a galaxy a series (maybe the 2016/2017 one) screen. that was pretty shitty.

At least you have a SD card slot on the clone which you don't have on the Legit one LOL. Nah that clone is worse just better go for A Samsung Note 7 or a LG V20. I use a LG V20.
