Fun Fact: Carla Jaeger's death is less grotesque than in the manga. In the manga the titan twists her before devouring her 😱😱😱

+ one sub, you are serious about encroaching on the best anime out there, well good luck on that journey. Feel free to stop the video to discuss a some point, ask questions, build theories and other things, it helps from copyright strikes. Your discussion format is very well suited to this anime. It will only get better with each season. I'm very jealous you're watching this for the first time. But like many people, you probably won't notice all foreshadowing and hints the first time you watch it. With a re-watch, this anime reveals itself even better and you see all those forshadoving that were routed to the crazy plot twists in later events of this series. It's an absolute masterpiece of anime. But that doesn't mean everyone has to like it, don't inflate expectations. Watch it with a clear mind. p.s. I see some knowledge of philosophy in Aiden, I like that too. Many times philosophical issues are brought up in this show. And I will say that this show will test your moral fiber many times over.

First two episodes we felt pretty overwhelmed being dropped into a new show and new medium so we didn't really analyse as well as we hoped to, but we feel we know the nature of the show a bit better now and can't wait for episode 3. We will do our best to theorise! And yes, we actually both studied philosophy at university so we are stoked for any philosophical themes that get explored!

Aidan and Manuela ! THIS ONE'S FOR Y'all ! Here's the PERFECT order to watch Attack on Titan. You're welcome: ⦁ Season 1 (end credit scene on 1x25 FINALE) ⦁ OVAs No Regrets (Parts 1 & 2; very important OVAs ! ) ⦁ OVAs 'A Sudden Visitor' and 'Distress' (these ones are bonus - optional if you WANT to WATCH it - fun ones) ⦁ Season 2x1 (ONLY the 1st ep of Season 2) ⦁ OVA Ilse's Notebook ⦁ the rest of the Season 2 ⦁ Season 3 Part 1 (DO NOT WATCH the end credit scene on 3x12 since it contains Season 3 Part 2 SPOILERS) ⦁ Season 3 Part 2 (end credit scene on 3x19) ⦁ OVA Lost Girls Parts 1-3 ⦁ Season 4 Part 1 (end credit scenes on 4x4 and 4x11) ⦁ Season 4 Part 2 (end credit scene on 4x27) ⦁ Final Chapters SPECIAL 1 (Penultimate Episode) ⦁ Final Chapters SPECIAL 2 (SERIES FINALE)

What this chapter shows, before Eren wakes up (titans, toys and corpses) is a change made by Wit Studio and has nothing to do with Eren and Mikasa's dream shown in the first chapter of the manga. In the first chapter of the manga, Eren dreamed of Mikasa saying goodbye to him, and upon waking up he asks her: Since when have you had such long hair? MAPPA corrected this error at the beginning of chapter 88 (the one-hour special).

If you guys plan to read the comments, I would suggest getting a good mod because there will definitely be people commenting spoilers. People will try to correct you if you misundertand something, explain stuff for you, ask you specific questions which will lead you to think a specific way that align with the story, try to write clever comments, hype up certain episodes, etc. All these comments contains hints, clues, spoilery elements, and is just completely unnecessary. You guys should just come up with theories, predictions, and questions yourselves and let only the show itself answer them. I'd say the best way to watch the show is to literally just watch it and nothing else. Don't read comments (unless you have a GOOD mod), don't search stuff up, and just try to avoid anything attack on titan related. Even youtube thumbnails of attack on titan can spoil you. This is just what I think is the best way to enjoy the show. I just also enjoy attack on titan reactions better when the reactors literally go into the show 100% blind without any external influence. If you guys misunderstand things, that's normal and that's the point. You're supposed to not understand stuff until the show decides to explain stuff and then you understand. But for some reason people REALLY want to tell you stuff before the show does. Anyway, this anime is pretty good and I hope you guys have fun watching it. Here's a ChatGPT response that sums up my thoughts: Reactors should exercise caution when reading comments particularly those that delve into explanations or interpretations of elements within the show. While some comments may provide valuable insights or perspectives, others may inadvertently spoil upcoming plot points or reveal details that the reactor has not yet encountered. Furthermore, part of the appeal of reaction videos lies in the genuine, unfiltered responses of the reactors as they experience the content for the first time. Reading comments that analyze or explain aspects of the show could potentially influence the reactor's reactions and diminish the authenticity of their response. It's essential for reactors to maintain their unbiased perspective to provide viewers with an honest and engaging reaction. I just HATE it when people comment spoilers and then say it's not a spoiler. It might be a tiny spoiler but it still is a spoiler. Any spoilers or "hints" are just unnecessary and stupid. Anything other than the show itself can be a spoiler.

Thanks for the suggestions! Our friend who recommended the show has given the same advice on the comment section, so we will avoid it going forward. Neither of us use social media or watch RU-vid videos so we should have no issue steering clear of information online.

@@AidanAndManuela There are also some really helpful advice commenters will give for watching the show. You should make sure that you continue watching the episode until you see "to be continued" because there may be a post credits scene. Although there is a specific post credits scene which is considered a spoiler by some people (I'm one of them) which is in season 3 episode 12. People will tell you to watch it or not watch it, so you should decide. The spoiler is basically a flash forward so you will eventually see it during an episode but the post credits scene is cool so if you decide to skip it, remember to watch it after you finish the season. The openings and endings contain some spoilers, but you probably won't know what's going on and forget about the visuals. Maybe watch it once and skip it, or whatever you decide to do. Since the openings and endings are part of the show, I guess it's okay to watch them as you watch the episodes, but I would suggest watching it after the season or arc is over. And then here's a list I found of the watch order of the anime written by @user-fp1ol2ev3n (Edit: lol that person's already here 4 hours later): This is the chronological order of the series: Attack on Titan season 1 (episodes 1-25) Attack on Titan Ilse’s Notebook (OAD) Attack on Titan: The Sudden Visitor (OAD) Attack on Titan: Distress (OAD) Attack on Titan: No Regrets Parts 1-2 (OAD) Attack on Titan season 2 (episode 26-37) Attack on Titan: Lost Girls: Wall Sina, Goodbye Parts 1-2 (OAD) Attack on Titan season 3, part 1 (episode 38-49) Attack on Titan: Lost Girls: Lost in the Cruel World (OAD) Attack on Titan season 3, part 2: (episode 50-59) Attack on Titan season 4 (Final Season), part 1: (episode 60-75) Attack on Titan season 4 (Final Season), part 2: (episode 76-87) Attack on Titan Final Chapter Special 1: (episode 88) Attack on Titan Final Chapter Special 2 (episode 89) There are some people who suggest watching Attack on Titan Season 2 episode 1 before watching "Attack on Titan Ilse’s Notebook" because of a specific reason. So yeah, these are some of the good advice from commenters. Majority of comments are spoiler free but there are some that are just not needed other than to spoil or give hints. Sometimes, those comments are meant for other people who've watched the show to read like some inside jokes or insight on something that happens in an episode. I suggested not to read comments, but there are just a lot of nice people who leave positive comments and good advice for watching the show so keep that in mind. Also, interacting with comments can be fun, so having a mod is great for keeping spoilers away while interacting with viewers. Maybe you can ask your friend for help to filter comments or you can just read comments (pretty risky) and if it looks like they are giving too much info about the show, then just skip that comment.
