ah i love hacks who cant handle people not liking their shitty videos, you do realize acting like a manbaby at 90% of your comment section makes you look extremely childish
@Shnappy how exactly cant i take? I mean im gonna keep making more regardless, and im gonna keep talking shit in the comments cause its fun. I dont mind if a million people came crying for me making jokes about their favorite cartoon. Id still keep doing it. Cause in fact i can take it, Just fine baby boi 😘
I'd never hate someone that does these kind of videos, having someone react for the first time to an anime that I like or anime in general is really fun!
@CONDORIANO some people just get very upset when i make fun of something. Regardless if im mostly positive or not. They are fun to do though, and im gonna keep doing em my way regardless. Glad there are people enjoying them
The last ops are more for the people who are watching, the 6 for example was perfect for what happened on that season, but you can watch the endings, all of them give more context of what is happening
@@dis222 and why did you tell yours? Whatever is fun to see what people say on the internet, have a good day! Edit: oh wait, you weren't the one who said his, well, anyway that makes it worst, you just came to a conversation and say that no one ask for my opinion when you weren't even someone here.
The vibe of the intros reflect what is going on at that point in the anime. Season 3 part 1 is chill because it's an arc where titans barely show up and there's more worldbuilding. Meanwhile in the Final Season there's a big shift in the story + a time skip, so the hype adventure openings wouldn't fit anymore.
In addition, Op 4 was about Historia's character and her becoming the Queen, where the scouts were basically in waiting, preparing for the reclamation of Wall Maria. Hypeness wouldn't fit much there
I wouldnt call Red Swan chill because the lyrics are sad and it focuses on conflict within the walls. Also certain parts you wont understand until you see the series finale.
the song for my war is pretty alright but the visuals kinda fall flat even if its different whats cool. and the new op is meh. i mean its good but not as impressive or impacful as some of the others. but thats just my opinion. I'm so far into my anime life that i hate 99% so i should shut up lol.
These last 2 are just telling us how this show has developed. It's MUCH MORE than just slaying titans, it has a lot of symbolic and stuff. It's worth watching for sure.
@@BubbysWorld I think the endings provide context, but they also spoil a LOT, more than the openings in some ways. So if you want to go into the show blind, I dont really recommend it because after the first few it gets either SUPER spoiler heavy OR deep and emotional so it doesnt add context Edit: just based on your reactions to the openings that rely on the context of the show, like 4, 6 and 7, it might be harder to appreciate the endings. the most recent ending may be my favorite, but It's literally just the main character and some scenery, so it doesn't have much meaning to someone who hasn't watched up to that point. To someone who has seen the show, it pulls on the heartstrings every which way. The endings are simultaneously spoilers and more vague, but tend to be slower paced. Thats all, you do you!
Nah. Its just that the intros need to be poppin. If not then im not gonna pretend they're interesting. The slower ones here make sense for someone invested in the show. I was going in blind. Why would i care about them. Ive watched a lot of non shonen anime and enjoyed it.
@@hashshashiin.forsī Dress up Darling, K-On Ouron High School Host club, Cowboy Bebop, Death Parade, Spice & Wolf, Hellsing Ultimate, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Violet Evergarden, Komi Can't Communicate, Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie, Horimiya, Fruit Basket, Toradora I hope this helps
The other ones you didn’t like are the one you really need to know what it happening in the storyline to get them. Like the last two almost make me cry. But the one you like, I listen to those daily.
op 4,6, and 7 are more hype for the people who watched the show. unlike the the other 4 intro's where they show more fighting and epic music to get newer viewers interested. It makes sense why the other openings might not spark your interest since they're not aimed towards new viewers. Good reaction
@@Stratilex It’s not hype, but you will grow to love it as much as the other ones. Because after everything that had happened and will happen, you will understand slow emotional music like that..🥲
I mean... we know he has no idea whats happening cause he tells us Over and over and over and oer 'I dont know' and 'I dont get it' It was irritating to listen to mostly
the last one is my favorite, I've never liked screamo or anything but I dig the orchestral metal/rock stuff going on and the vibe fits with where the story is right now, so honestly I don't mind the screamo sections
My faves are also the early openings, but I do have to say that the recent ones really suit the show itself. Also the 6th OP was really refreshing since literally...NO spoilers XD
It always frustrates me when people are like "I don't like it there's nothing to look at." Like.. If you wanted to WATCH something, watch the show. We're here for the music. :/
@@raingerdiesalot Agreed, but its also true that some people are more visual beings. We cannot rly judge them for it. Every reactor is in the end a person with prefrences, I honestly prefer ppl like this who can at least tell me thr truth...rather than people who pretend to like sth just for the views.
@@raingerdiesalot Well an opening is a combination of both visuals and music so your point is pretty shit ngl. If we/them were to abide by your logic then why waste time watching said openings instead of searching up the song and listening to it?
hey kids, I'm 30yr old dude who is watching openings to the show I have never seen in my life for 10 minutes and complain in the meantime that I have no idea what's going on
Man, I don't get the dislikes. Of course I don't agree with some of your takes, but that's because I've already seen the show so I have more context. Your reaction was actually enjoyable and perfectly understandable for someone with no idea what was happening. Nice video!
My dislike is not about his take on the openings, but about talking without a single pause. Yes people need to talk in a reaction, but not a single person can talk and pay attention at the same time. He adresses this but takes the criticism that he got the wrong way and assumed he should not talk at all according to them. It just meant talk less and not nothing so he pays more attention. And he could just take a little more time and pause the video when he wants to say a little more.
The last opening actually fits the tone of the final season. In a way the song is being told thru the mind of the main character and the season has alot of war, conflict, death, I get that scream metal isn't your cup of tea but trust me once you catch up to that part of the anime (if you do) I think the song will grow on at least visuals and lyrics wise.
The "vibe" makes a lot more sense if you know what's going on in the story. Anime opening often aren't so much about being good or bad song in isolation, but more about _fitting_ with the themes of the story arc. I'm guessing you'll appreciate some of them more if you get the context :)
Last opening (and ending) would hit very differently for people who followed the story to the end (i.e. manga readers). So yea it's natural to be a bit confused otherwise 😂 I think the use of heavy metal was actually pretty well received amongst the fans. It's not as hype as some of the earlier openings, but let's just say it's more appropriate. I think the producers were like "Pretty sure majority of fans have already read the manga by this point and knew the ending", so there was a lot of foreshadowing and spoilers in the imageries and lyrics used. Second last one was... really confusing even for AoT fans xD But idk why I find it kinda catchy and never skipped it when following that season.
The last opening was hype af for me, was pretty surprised but I kinda understand how you’re not feeling it cause you have no idea whats going on lol. We are reaching the pinnacle of intensity!
“A little gay romance and that guy is jealous” 🤣🤣 i laughed so hard, that was him when he was younger talking to his dad and thats him older looking thru the window
Funny you would hate my favorite opening Red Swan but it is one of the most important openings to the story and the characters since it involves alot of reflection into the past which is a big clue to the mystery of the world
Lol he dare to insults metal. The last one is def a banger. And the way he said "nothing's happening" when in reality it contains all the spoilers😂 but i see he's watching aot now so yeah no big deal
@@BubbysWorld The band does metalcore/alternative rock mixes amongst other genres. Its good metal music but not for everyone. My taste in metal music leans around power or melodic with dad rock and hair metal thrown in.
@@BubbysWorld Number 1 song in 7 countries and top 10 in 48 countries, currently. Debuted number 3 on Billboard Hard Rock charts. Your taste just sucks man lol.
Ikr, just reacting to visuals and worrying about his camera, setup and what to say. I didnt feel anything from him tbh, same way he reacted to that one intro is the same way i reacted to his reaction lol. The real art in these intros is the music, he didnt even talk much about it
"I dont understand this" continues to judge an intro for a show that's suppose to make sense if u watch the show. It's not their job to entertain the watchers that have no idea about the show. The good intros to any anime are suppose to be for the actual people that watch the show. Then it makes sense. Kinda rude to call someones art boring. Especially for those who dont know nothing. Yikes.
It is kinda yikes of u to go after the man. Just bc he hasnt seen the show. Its 1st impressions, he might like it more or might not later. Yall come to reaction channels of longtime fans or ppl new to a show to see if they might watch it. We dont need every single reactor to pander to our ego's by being all WOW'd and "FANTASTIC" on everything. It's nice to get diff perspectives. Calm ur tits, my dude.
@@Daigon95 okay first off, read my comment. I'm saying dont call someone art boring because you cant understand it. Many of the songs not liked came with the sentence "I dont understand" or something similar. I'm then said its dumb to call it boring because it's not meant for those that dont watch it. It's meant for watchers. Therefore someone with 0 knowledge wont like it. But theres a difference of saying " I couldn't understand all the meaning of that intro but..." so and so. Versus what he said " I dont understand what the point of that intro is and it was boring" it's all about the respect.
@@ingeniusfelesha4009 I guess many of the 1st impressions of ppl who watch the show tht said it was "boring" are wrong too. He has a right to say if it sucks or if he loves it. Doesn't matter if it aint giving any respect to it or not. To the average viewer, the show is a product among other shows and films. If the product affects u mentally/emotionally for u to give it respect sure. Respect is earned not given. He never said he doesnt respect the intro, only not showing respect within the context of the show. If u asked him how the animation/art was im sure he wuld praise it. It just sounds more like u demand more from him to a show u enjoy and less on the generalization of respect for an art form of a product.
He's more descriptive than most people that do this. Rather than most reactors that go WoAh ThiS iS SoOO AmaZinG he actually goes thru describing his perspective of what he is seeing and giving his opinions. RESPECT
6:00 "a lil gay romance and that guys jealous."😭😭😭 the guy looking through the window was looking at a version of his dad and himself when he was younger
6 and 7 you will understand it after on the later episode. And the warship, zipline and the soldiers marching Yeah you will understand that too. It's like I won't spoil much but what if you live on a container but that container is a wall but after you open the container is open up another much bigger container yeah.
Season 3 has been great. Lots of back story and still great action throughout. As someone who had never seen the show i still stand by my reaction. That does nothing for someone who hasnt seen it at all.
"I wanna be one of those soldiers" you really don't lmfao. I've never seen a bunch of background characters get treated this badly, it's brutal out there for them.
@@BubbysWorld obviously that’s what op are for there suppose to fit that season not some air head who only wants action action because you have a low attention span
What I love about the intros of AOT and most animes is they give emotions to set you up for the episodes and season or half a season you're about to watch. Like, the first intro sets the mood for nobel solders sacrificing for killing titans, which is what the first half is about. Then even with the latest one for the second half of the 4th season, it shows the chaos and havoc and rage introduced throughout the part
Personally, opening 7 is my favorite. It shows what eren is doing plus the “rumbling.” Also I just love the song tbh. Not the rock in roll edgy emo part, but where the intense goes high and high to “if I lose it all, outside the wall.” Etc. Also the outro/ending 7 focuses on what Eren is thinking and where he mind is truly at. The music is amazing in it too. It’ll hit hard when the last episode is out the that plays. Maybe, we’ll even get a different outdo/ending for the very last episode with all the characters.
The chatter had you unfocused on the music for sure, I think I understand why a lot of reactors pause their videos to get their thoughts out, with this in mind. You're not really SUPPOSED to get it if you haven't watched the shows, your thoughts on the final opening were just...what?? Edgy? Just some teens standing around? I don't even get where that mental shift in view came in.
Each opening perfectly encapsulates each season. Definitely gotta start watching if you want to get the true feeling of each one. The last two ones are actually my favorite ones because they just show such a sharp tonal shift in the show where everything goes down. This anime is not just a show, it’s an experience, and has already gone down as an all time classic. Sometimes I wish I could forget the entire thing and re-experience it again. It is a modern masterpiece
It’s interesting seeing someone with zero knowledge about the anime react to the openings, really makes clear how much context is needed as the story progresses
They changed studios for the final season, so any differences in the opening vibes is attributed to that probably. They do represent what's going on in the story very well.
You should do an updated reaction or fav op video after catching up with the series. Ik most people didn’t like the season 4 part 1 op when it first came out but most of them grew to love it after a few episodes into the season
