when it came out i heard about it but i don’t remember when i watched it. i think i stopped watching when it took so long for another season to come out. i forgot about it until i saw people bringing up something from manga that was released. at the time i only knew the scouts never made it outside the walls, so i spoiled myself and saw the manga pages online and saw the beast. i didn’t know who or what it was, my assumption was that this was the one creating all these titans and was able to talk 😂. i decided to pick up the anime again and was shocked during season 2.

Now, I’m a fully grown man who’s finished high school and started higher education. This show came out gradually as I was growing up with it and the series finally came to an end just two months ago. This story helped shape me into the man I am today. Listen, kid. Enjoy your teenage years while they last. Cause when you become an adult, all you will do is want to go back to the age you are right now.

It was something new and original at the time. To think there was so much more behind the whole “Giant naked people eating regular size people” thing back then. If you were to tell 10 years ago that there was a whole WW2 thing going later down the road I would call you crazy. It can’t be denied that the show truly did evolve.

I was rewatching the first season and I can see it was already evolved back at the time, it's just we weren't aware of them and the setup was presented casually compared to the ending seasons. The foreshadowing and subtle hints of what was actually happening behind the scene were crazy. Especially Reiner, Annie, and Bertoldt, every sentence they said had different meanings.
