Attack on Titan | OVA "No Regrets" Part 1 REACTION! 

Given that Levi grew up in a filthy home and neighborhood, it's safe to assume that this is the reason behind his obsession with cleanliness. The anime often shows him insisting that the Scouts' quarters are spotless, and he can even be found with a cleaning mask and feather duster on various occasions. It's a running gag throughout the series, but it seems to have a much more sinister backstory than people give it credit for.

"Aniki" is sometimes used as a word of respect for a non blood related "brother" or superiors in delinquent groups. It is used by Yakuza for instance.

The one who pushed Levi down to the ground was Mike. It's the guy with the weird smelling/sniffing habits.

I will answer 2 of your questions. 1.The guy that catches up with Levi and slammed his face to the ground is Miche, the guy that is sniffing around. He is known to be the second most powerful soldier, after Levi of course. 2.About the age of Mikasa and Levi, Levi is older. I'm not sure about their precise age, but Mikasa is around 16 and Levi is late 20s or early 30s. He looks young because he's small. So yes, they don't have the same age. levi just twisted his ankle in his battle against the female titan. its a normal way for people to "normally hurt thier leg and foot", has nothing to do with that character with the bad leg. i hope this clears it up

Levi's theme "So Ist Es Immer" will always remain iconic, and absolute one of the best characters out there. Love this man so much. Cannot wait for Part 2.

The more you get to know Levi, the more you're gonna love and treasure him. He may look harsh and strict but he is one of the most emotional, warm-hearted and self-less characters in the whole series. The OVA really did him justice, it brought me a deeper insight into his personality and the journey to become who he is now - the strongest soldier of humankind. The guy who put Levi's face in to the mudd was Miche Zacharias. He is called humanity second strongest soldier right after Levi himself. More on him coming up in the season 2 episode 1.

The underground city was built for refuge from the titans as the walls were being built as the titans roamed above ground. People had to buy their way to citizenship on the surface, and the poorer people stayed there. Lack of sunlight>lack of vitamin D>lack of calcium)>weak bones. Hence alot of people couldn't walk. That may also be a reason as to why Levi is so short. No details is too small for Isayama😊

if you've realized, in this show they show a lot of birds (from ep1 on continuesly). They are a symbol of freedom since they can just fly easily over the walls. This OVA is enhancing this metaphor since Isabella wanted to save the bird and wanting it to be free instead of being caged/flying in the underground - just like humanity being caged within the walls (Eren and the survey corps want to go beyond the walls, too). Them nursing the bird and granting it freedom to the surface after is so symbolic of their own wish for freedom. So Levi is charmed by Isabella's good heart and the sought of flying through the sky (freedom!) - just like a bird - she is a kindred spirit just like Farlan and Levi. The sniffing guy is called Mike ^^ Btw, living in the underground without any sunlight is very bad for your health (this is a real thing!) and gives you a short life - you don't see there any very old people because of that. That is why people get the bad legs and what is shown with this guy Levi was blackmailed with. So they might be protected from the Titans but pay with an unhealthy, poor and shortened life for it.

Levi has been my favorite ever since the female titan arc. Idk. Probably because he actually cares about his people even when he doesn't have any personal bond with them. Isabel is very on point calling him a big bro because he is like a big brother who is willing to take care of a flock of younger siblings

about the Underground, it was alluded to two other times in s1 (beside the one you remember in 1x6): - in 1x22, when Eren & co were trying to lure Annie underground, Armin said it was the remnant of a project to build an underground city, now abandonned - more interestingly imo, in 1x15, when Petra talked to Eren about Levi: _"Before joining the Survey Corps, he was a famous rogue in the capital's underground (...) He was taken in to the Survey Corps after giving in to Commander Erwin."_

I hope you guys watch the Ilse's Notebook OVA too. I dunno why some fans and reactors avoid it before S2, but it's a must-watch. It's more than just fan service.

i really get happy when you post AoT reactions. it makes me feel good to the point that it's monday morning here but i feel light. hahahaha the underground is an abandoned project by the govt. it's not explicitly said why it was abandoned but given that many of the people (if not most) get sick and the mortality rate is very high due to lack of sunlight or other nourishments makes me assume it's not an ideal living space. and no titans attacked inside the walls for 100 years (in this timeline, ofc it's shorter) so the purpose of living in it was forgotten nor not seen as relevant. the population of the underground isn't necessarily criminals. they're unfortunate ones, simply put. mayhaps why many resolve to criminal acts.

Hello I have a suggestion. The Penthouse: War in Life, it has 3 seasons. This is an underrated drama and has an interesting storyline, it all started when a girl fell from the 47th floor of Hera palace. Then the Hera club members covered up her death by saying it's suicide, then one of the hera club members finds out that the girl that fell is her daughter. And the revenge starts there. This drama is very frustrating and stressful, it will make your blood boil.

Even tho it doesn't impact the plot, just like Levi's, it does make for a good character story and it shines a light on what the MP does on the interior. And I remember Ange was convinced Annie is not a bad person, this might help with figuring her out.

Mikasa and her mom were wanted because they're the last asians on that world. It was because they were exotic. It had nothing to do with her mysterious strenght, after all, she just woke that power in that incident.

I want to suggest you to watch the This is war series by Falconshield. Its a fan made series of League of Legends rap battles of the different Regions of Runeterra. Its not officially from riot games but it is still extremely high quality, so much so that riot actually collaborated with them on one video. Highly recommend you to react to it because it is criminally underwatched especially by recent League fans because they started making them 10 years ago. Even though there is even a Piltover vs Zaun one that everyone who watched Arcane would love to see ^^
