WIT artists? No, Bg artwork for big name animes tend to be outsourced so not under WIT employment. But still great to have skilled professionals involved.
Looks so good and impressed by everything ! OMG Im so freaking excited to watch this !!!! Its so cool that actually WIT artist are assisting you guys :D !!!
Seriously! This is my favorite aspect of AoT's fanbase: That there are individuals who came together in a group effort to create a manga and anime in honor of their favorite series! It's such a passionate project, the like of which I've never seen before and may never see again in my life. And that, friend, is great art!
Ig soon we will get into to the era were fans will start to animate a whole anime series, including adapting their favorite manga that hasn't been adapter by any official studio, reanimtaing series that were badly adapted, continuing series that released some epsiodes but got cancelled before they could afapt the full manga and many more
Okay, even if they're just freelancers, the fact that you're working with people who worked on the *actual anime* is REALLY cool! And even though we'll have to wait another year for it, I'm glad that you're doing the opposite of Isayama and taking your time with this. Honestly, if he wasn't on such a tight deadline, I think the manga's ending could have been a lot better. Also, question: Will this be an episodic adaptation of AoTnR's individual parts, or will it be a movie that compiles all parts into one?
@@thealpharouge Thanks for the reply. Here's hoping the episode is well-received and you'll be encouraged to adapt the other chapters as well! Even if we only get the one episode, I'll be rooting for y'all!
I love the background and it's composition and also amazing achievement ... however, the characters seems a bit out of place. Doesn't go well with the background and fit well with it. I don't know how to explain it, but yeah. Otherwise it is truly great.
Yes, this is the anime adaptation of that work. I believe they're working on more parts currently. Unlike the official AoT manga series, they're unaffected by company deadlines, so they're taking their time with it. The result will likely be something that's much better than the rushed ending Isayama gave us. Trust me, let 'em cook.
This is the anime version of the Requiem project. If you're just now finding this, then allow me to explain. The manga ended on chapter 139, which disappointed a lot of fans. Mostly, it was due to the manga having a rushed deadline, thus the final chapter felt...incomplete. The dialogue was especially terrible. Plus, a major hint toward AoT's ending was Akatsuki no Requiem, according to Linked Horizon themselves (who said that they hoped Attack on Titan fans would eventually understand the meaning behind their music video). However, chapter 139 was...almost exactly the opposite of AnR. This led a passionate, talented group of AoT fans from around the world to band together and create an alternate ending to AoT! They called it Attack on Titan: Requiem! The project would be a manga written and illustrated by several talented individuals and released online on their free-to-read website (Google Attack on Titan Requiem and you should find it). The story would pick up immediately after chapter 136, and would be a more detailed reimagining of the ending, using AnR as a base for its narrative. Its story would cover points brought up in the last three chapters of the official manga, but in more detail. It would stay true to how the characters were written up to that point while taking the story in a direction that was (in my opinion) more in line with AoT's original themes. It was released in parts, with the team taking a long time to release each part as they were unaffected by deadlines. To this day, they're still working on part 4. They even had music made for it, created by Mr.Treebeard (he's on RU-vid if you'd like to listen to his works). Anyway, eventually Studio Eclipse began working on an animated adaptation of Requiem. Once again, they were comprised of talented fans of the series. They've dropped thirty-second teasers before, and now we have a release date for the anime: Fall 2024! But now, something even cooler is happening with the project: background artists who worked on AoT season 1-3 have joined the Requiem crew and are working on the anime! Brings a tear to my eye to see how this small project has grown, especially with all the backlash they've received. You see, ending defenders tend to call this project "cringe," "hateful," or "disrespectful." But it's not that at all. It's passionate, and done out of love for the series and respect to the author. Isayama himself has stated that he enjoys fan works related to his series. Plus, as this is non-profit and they're constantly saying to enjoy the official work, I don't think it's disrespectful. Heck, (I believe it was) part 2 of the Requiem manga was ready during the airing of AoT's final season, but they refused to release it online until the cour of the anime ended. That was because they wanted their readers to go enjoy the official anime and not just focus on Requiem. In my opinion, that was the respectful thing to do. So, if you've read all this, welcome to Requiem! I'd recommend at least reading the final volume of the official manga (if you're anime-only) before looking too much into this project. But, once you're caught up, I'd highly recommend checking out the Requiem team's work! Even if you prefer the official ending, it's still worth a read.
its a long story but basically its a fan project that's creating the original ending of Aot (the retcon ending ruined the series and alot of the characters so some talented artists in the community wanted to do it justice). basically isayama changed the ending of attack on titan around 2019 so that a sequel would be possible in the future but it hurt the quality of the series. this ending doesn't allow for a sequel so that should tell you what happens in this ending.
so basically isyama is a trash writter. i find it so funny when ed's hate on aotnr just bc it goes against the manga ending when its inspired directly by isayama.
@@rebertosmith9524 that's just not how it works at all... how could you go and yap out information without doing any research. Isayama evolved from an artist since chapter 1 of AOT thats how that works but even then thats not the full picture. Most Manga Authors have assistants that help them with the chapters and these assistants can help with background art. Isayama has assistants that help him with the art of the chapters. This shit is not new and the fact that your going around spreading misinformation is pretty disappointing dude
