Kodansha Comics' video series "THESE HANDS MAKE MANGA. Watch Hajime Isayama draw Levi from Attack on Titan. This video was taken as special message for the attendees of Anime Expo 2017. About Attack on Titan: kodanshacomics....
He drew it a thousand times man so now its easy for him.....take this advice when i first started drawing anime characters i also took me time but now with setting of your hand you will draw it quickly and that takes practice
To all the people out there thinking he makes it look easier that it actually is this guy has probably drawn Levi over a thousand times so it all just muscle memory to him.
@@chirpchirpy123 Fun fact: Isayama got the idea of titans from a drunk guy he encountered. It shows how dangerous humans are when we are not in control. So that's how the titans came to be.
just rely on your instincts and work on your confidence. dont hesitate with strokes and you'll draw anything you want as long as you have the heart for it ^_^ Good Luck!
it just takes a lot of practice! im 10 and i've improved so much since last year! i cant draw near as well as isayama, but i can draw basic anime characters. i draw pretty well for my age, but ive been drawing since i was 3. anime is the main reason why i can draw, except ive only watched anime for about 4 months. so yes, you can improve over 2 months if you draw every day! (=
Just so you know The first few chapters of attack on titan were criticized for bad art. Isayama started from that to making the attack on titan everyone around the world loves so... Don't lose hope and just practice cus practice makes progress
@Alexander Zulkarnain Entertainment no someone people might not finish the anime because everyone before him revealing his a ackerman everyone called him corpal lance levi something like that i think ok bei osrry if my english is bad
@@g1rl0fyourdr34ms Can you give the source for that? I know a lot of people have said that Isayama rated Levi a 2/10, but in the Character Guide Book he stated he made him "pretty".
kodansha is so lucky.. they accept hajime isayama story and then BOOM. this story became the most popular anime/manga in the world. poor those publishers who rejected this shingeki no kyojin.. LOL XD
@@Catboylawliet tbh i like anime it Made me decide not to suside and made me a better person sooo this is why I think anime is better then normal shows
@@blurryink115 Yeah that sketch teacher i was talking about was when i was in 1st year high school, heck the man didn't even know the meaning of the word "Nerd".
my lifetime wish is to go to his studio and meet him personally 😍 i want to draw levi and show to him, hope my idol will approve it with his signature 💕💕
Everyone keeps complaining about how they’re bad at drawing, but all artists including him didn’t start off that good either. Putting in time each day to practice will make you good too
@@mwndjddjdhdbbf8408 that must be nice, i was fine with it too. but like everywhere i went there was an exaggerating amount of hate towards it online. which i get but like 😐😅
It's funny how Isayama just proved that the Japanese are completely oblivious about Western Europe. There are tons of fans in Europe too you know, Isayama-sensei!
The Japanese think the West consists of America only, but that's far from the truth. I kinda feel like we're being forgotten, and we Europeans have a BIG anime fanbase...
Gaarafan14 The Dark Knight Indeed I'm from Iraq and In Arab countries this anime by far the most popular one and watched I hope he will notice us not only America 😐
Gaarafan14 The Dark Knight This was drawn for the people attending Anime Expo 2017 though which is held in the United States. He was just thanking the people who were there which would mostly be Americans.
Thank you for this and all your hard work. Wishing you continued good health and success. I love your message that no matter how different we think we are and have nothing in common, we're all the same. Thank you!
As much I love isayama, The Chibi Mikasa is honestly the best part of it all. I love my girl mikasa. The best most precious and nuanced character in AOT.
Hajime Isayama( HI for short) making Levi: HI: ok, make him hot Animator: ok HI: give him a deep voice Animator: ok HI: make him the strongest character Animator: ok, he’s looking pretty good here. HI: ooookkk now make him a titan killer machine Animator: ok nice HI: nooow make him around 30 and have all his friends and family die Animator: I guess that’s normal for this, considering almost nobody has a family at this point Animator: aaaaaaannnnddd no fan-service.
Thank you Kodansha for appreaciating Isayama sensei. You paved way for his work and talent to be discovered. And now Attack on Titan is one of the most popular manga/anime of all time.
Unfortunately, outside of Japan, there are some people who cannot appreciate how excellent and perfect the final chapter is because they cannot understand the too high level content of Isayama's work or it was not the way they wanted ,and can only continue to criticize Isayama. If you have any questions or complaints about Attack on Titan, please don't hesitate to let me know. I will explain it to you.
Remeber everyone this channel accepted his artwork when everyone neglected it because of his artstyle now look at him succeeding and about to end the final season of his own anime well done isayama you deserved this.
we really gotta thank Isayama for not just creating Levi (Heck why is he so beautiful) but for creating attack on titan. It truly is a masterpiece with an amazing story and amazing characters. I can't wait for season 4 to be animated!
Isayama when Levi becomes the most popular: Let's have him die to a thunder spear then leave it on a cliffhanger just as Levi is flying off his feet from the explosion
