I love Zeke's reactions through the episode as he slowly realises that it wasn't Grisha that brainwashed Eren, but it was the other way around.

This episode is the epitome of the meme “Eren is the protagonist, antagonist, main character, side character, writer, director, hero, villain etc”

This is the first time when people are more scared of a protagonist instead of an antagonist.

This episode was a banger. That rage from Grisha is a masterpiece. Probably one of the best episode in Attack On Titan

When eren said he was always like this, always willing to take the freedom of others if they try to take his it made me look back at how eren was from s1 up to this ep and realized that he's right he never did Change he just changed his target from titan to everyone outside the walls. Which surprised me

Eren was the son Grisha wanted in Marley and Zeke was the son he wanted in Paradise The wrong man in the right place can make all the difference

So basically just like every inheritor of the Founder with royal blood follows first King's ideology, every inheritor of Attack Titan from the past has followed Eren's ideology from the future. This shit is unreal man

Eren basically just whispered the story into Isayama’s head.

Eren going Aizen-levels of masterminding with the cruelty of Light will go down as one of the greatest plot twist of all time, and not just anime at that.

The line he's said a few times now is so chilling: "For now, I keep moving forward." Eren is just stricken with knowing his future, just knowing that all he can do is move forward along the timeline predetermined both for him and by him. Incredibly crazy.

The switch between OST's at 3:40 was too smooth. That episode was insane alongside with the soundtrack.

Grisha's VA actually smashed this episode btw this soundtrack gave me third degree goosebumps 🙂

This part was already insane in the manga, but the anime just took it and enhanced it even further. That breakdown of Grisha at the end gave me shivers! In the manga, he just flopped to the ground but here man...what an episode!

That line "Stand Up Father" literally gave me chills.Mappa didn't disappoint fans.They have made a really epic comeback with this season.Abolute intense full episode.Looking forward for the upcoming events.

If the previous episodes didn't tell the world enough, this week proved that AoT has cemented itself as _the_ absolute goat, and will continue to show that status through the following weeks to come.

3:14 this was scary and powerful and Eren's face afterwards man OMG, easily the best AOT episode with flawless music

It’s so sad to think of Grisha’s life the way it is. He had to abandon his family, got one of them killed and made the other an apologist to eugenics. He tries to write his wrongs and raise a good family and just live a humble life but instead it was that child which turned out to be a straight up psychopath. And now he is being haunted by his future children in his last days, reminding him of all his mistakes. It’s so sad.

Attack On Titan Is so strong at it's core that it will make fans return to it again and again and again. and I bet that the fans will not get bored by watching it even if they know the story cause the author has worked this out so perfectly.. It's intriguing enough.. Even the studios have worked hard enough...the soundtracks the visuals bloody everything Hat's OFF to ATTACK ON TITAN NEVER WOULD'VE THOUGHT I WOULD PRAISE AN ANIME SO MUCH.

This scene was goddamn intense. I wasn't expecting the action to end so abrubtly and turn into deep thinking mind-bending reveals. Looking forward to the next ep!

That was one of the most mind-blowing episodes of AoT. Despite no real battle it was incredible to watch.

I thought the truth about the outside was one of the best constructed plot twists and pay offs ever conceived, and then this FUCKING episode comes out. What the fuck. A true subversion, causing you to question quite literally everything that has happened thus far. Absolutely genius

When Grisha collapsed in the forest, after he got the Founding, I was literally in tears. And that a rare thing from me. But maaan, the voice acting, the music... Maybe this sounds stupid, but emotionally, I actually felt Lion King vibes.

This scene was so chilling! Eren is officially the best hero-to-villain protagonist ever!

How did this mf Isayama casually get into manga wanting to fund his business and just create one of the best sickest stories ever is beyond me. What a legend!

"Did you forget what you came here to do?" By far the BEST scene from S4-Part 2, if not one of the greatest reveals of the series. Isayama you damn genius.

Last episode was a 10/10. This deserves more than 10/10. As a manga reader,they did this more than justice. Just some tips for anyone still 1confused. I don’t think these are spoilers,but I give a warning anyway…. Grisha, Kruger and every attack Titan holder before that have been working according to the memories sent by the future chad Eren. Eren sent his memories back in time to create the perfect environment for him to steal the founding titans power in the future and destroy the world. Remember,out of all the 9 titans,the attack Titan had always been in search of freedom,free from the founding titans control. Why do you think that is? Eren had been influencing them all. About Grish seeing Zeke at only certain times….. Grisha actually doesn’t see Eren or Zeke in HIS real time. No,Grisha sees them through the memories Eren sent him. In this case,the memory of Zeke and Eren traveling through Grishas memories, is the exact memory Eren had sent him. Notice that every time Grisha sees Zeke,Eren is standing right behind Grisha? In other words,Grish I seeing it through Erens perspective. And also when Eren told Grisha to slaughter the kids…he didn’t hear it in real-time. He has been given the memory where Chad Eren whispers that to Grisha. Aka,Grishas hearing a memory of Eren coaxing him to kill the kids. That in turn affect him in HIS real time. AND when Grisha shows the key to chad Eren ,he really doesn’t see him,but he has a general idea of where Eren is standing in the room,because of the memories he’d been given from the future(which are from Erens perspective). That’s why he doesn’t speak about how much Eren had grown,because he literally can’t see him. Only see himself through future Erens perspective,aka memories. Just GENIUS writing

This is what it means to break every expectations people had of this series in the beginning. Really shows how far this show has come in terms of theme and character, even if it is very, very sinister. Yet its only just begun. Well done.🧐

This is probably my favorite ost and my favorite episode of Attack on Titan season 4 so far

Attack on titan is peak fiction. As a man, I couldnt help but cry when I saw grisha break down like that. When the homies shedding tears, you know some fuck shit went down. W character, honestly.

They did such a good job this season. What you believed always changed. What wad right and what was wrong becomes indefinable. You could support zekes plan with the excuse that he didn't understand. But now he knows. You could say Gabi was right because she didn't understand. Now she understands. This show never stops shocking me on how well it tells it's story and how knowone is completely justified for their actions. All of their morals and beliefs lead to pain to others. 10/10 episode.

I've been literally listening to this on loop since this came out. And I can't see myself to stop anytime soon. This is just a masterpiece.

Fun fact:- if you watch the 1st episode of the s1 you will notice when grisha said to eren he will show him the basement he was looking at the door at that moment but no one thought about it, But i think we do know why he was looking at the door. Isayama wrote a masterpiece story. (Don't reply to this comment stating that the ending is trash if you don't like the ending then shut up we have already seen a lot of hate regarding it just shhsshh)

To define Season 4 Eren: He's not messing around

*Stand up father* This gives me the same chills as to when it cuts to Eren's face and they add that rumbling sound as Frieda is talking, as you can see and feel the wrath of Eren Yeager, the Attack Titan. He will keep going, even if he is dead he will push forward until his enemies are no more.

I’ll never get to relive the experience of reading the chapter for the first time or seeing the episode for the first time, but I’ll never forget how I felt, this was an amazing experience.

This is the episode where it's made clear Eren was born to eventually become a monster. "I've always been this way" 😔

This twist gets better the more you watch it because this one scene reveals so much more than you’d expect.

The whole moment zeke's like "wait, what?"

I THINK EREN TEACHES US THE MOST VALUABLE LESSON OF LIFE IN THIS EPISODE THAT IS TO GET SOMETHING WE HAVE TO SACRIFICE SOMETHING FOR IT.

To realise that - Eren was behind Everything. Really he's acted like - He's child of demon inside (akuma no ko) inside him. He's became Villain officially.

All those years of defending Grisha finally payed off

The Eren eyes glow with anger/rage is menacing, also seeing Grisha suffer because of his son influence on him is a tragedy within it self.

How ironic, the Attack Titan, the embodiment of fighting for freedom, due to its ability it is also the greatest slave to the cruelest master: Fate.
