Trust, this movie was so underrated and it's sad it didn't get the marketing it deserved! I loved it when it first came out and am so happy that now it's starting to pick up momentum after Boyega's role in The Force Awakens. Allow it.

It is a good film. It is a cross between the goonies, boys in the hood and Alien. It was only made for 9 million and didn't make it's budget back. Back in 2011 people weren't ready to see a film like this. If it was release now, it would have made 100 million at least.

How can someone not like this movie? There's action, humor, horror, good acting and inventive special effects! I wish more movies were like this one!

I watched this movie years ago but when I watched TFA I can't believe I didn't recognize John Boyega from this :/

This movie was overlooked when it first came out, but I'm glad to see it's popularity skyrocket after Force Awakens came out.

I'll be honest, I almost wanted to turn the movie off after about 15 to 20 minutes in, which I NEVER do. The little gang of hoodlums were so unlikable at first that it made me angry...however, I am glad I stuck it out and saw the characters evolve, especially the leader of the gang. I am American and it was hard to understand some of the slang and references at times, but it also gave it flavor. The concept was unique, and I liked that it was contained in the block itself. I ended up really liking the film (Nick Frost was icing on the cake, as well as the alien design), and I plan on buying it soon! Props for this fun indie/sci-fi adventure!

I remember when this movie first came out, all the racist were posting over on the IMDB comment section about how it was hard to root for black "thugs", Now all of a sudden, everybody likes this movie...go figure. I always thought this movie was great from day one and deserved way more exposure, And I am extremely happy for Boyega's career. In fact, all the actors did a great job.

Underrated, but amazing! Loved it! It's the new original Tremors, too entertaining to be scary once you know the jumpscares and the pretty bad ways characters meet their end. Never before heard of it, saw it and loved it! Now... to find it on DVD, then I'll be happy!

In my opinion, John Boyega will prosper more in his career in American films rather than in the UK if he ever decided to take that promising route. He is one awesome actor. His future film he'll be in, Star Wars Episode VII.

Had this film on the shelf for almost a year...Just thought it'd be awful. Was I wrong, the film had me cracking up from the outset. If you have no sense of humour please don't watch. A good film to watch on a Saturday night that requires little thinking or analysing, just a lot of mayhem from start to finish. Nice to watch a British flick from a director brave enough to make such a movie here in the UK.

Man I remember watching this when it came out thinking hoiw great it was, then nobody saw it and it didn't even make its budget. Now all of the sudden star wars kids start watching it because one of the actor in it being in star wars? I am happy from one stand point, but sad from the other ,because the movie was great before all the star wars hype.

Best movie I've seen in theaters in years. Unexpected doesn't begin to describe it. Like Watching a combination of the Goonies, Ali-G and Coverfield. All on what I can imagine was a tiny budget. Loved it. See it.

I saw this movie a year ago and it's HILLARIOUS, SCARY, AND FULL OF ACTION. It keep you watch and wanting to know what's going to happen next. To be honest I have been looking for the movie so I can watch it a couple more times and also show some people I've told about the movie.......... A MUST SEE!!!!

Loved this movie. Thing I think I appreciated most was how the aliens were all "real." It wasn't all computer animation. These were real dudes in real suits. There really is something to be said about watching actors interact with real objects.

Watching this movie in 2021 gives me chills, one of the best movies ever😭❤

this movie toyed with all my emotions. just finished watching it. oh my... so sad, funny, and happy, especially that last part. Didn't expect the guy in the paper bin and the kidz to survive. Just shows u wht a couple of water guns and a match or lighter could do. At first I yelled at the kids to get inside but then was glad when they saved the other guy. Hurray Moses!!!
