I use an oceanic mask the seal is great no leaks I bought it 12 years ago from Cornish Diving Centre Bar Road Falmouth

Reminds me of lulworth cove underwater 👍. Looking forward to your strap solution. I've been wanting to get a dive marker bouy or tow float but preferably with a flag. But like you say the strap is too short I would already have one of that wasn't an issue. For shore snorkeling I like the option to rest a moment, especially after a time underwater. My kayak will be the tow float at other times

Yea I will probably only use mine if I’m at a beach I don’t know very well but definitely want to extend the strap.

It seems to be very safe to have this orange floating bag! I just love these underwater shots. And you mix them so brilliantly with drone shots and sea level shots. Really lovely video from beautiful Lamorna Cove :). Thank you :)

I love watching your videos - and everyo one makes me ever more keen to drive all that way down to your neck of the woods. Would you consider doing a compilation of clips, of areas or locations that are ideally suited to very new snorkelers, (oldies like myself) but also young teens looking to give it a go?

Thanks Colin. I’m not sure on the depth to pop my ears maybe 3 meters but I’m not sure. I normally just pressurise once they start hurting

I've always loved Lamorna, there's some very big rocks, I wouldn't mind knowing some history about the place, particularly why a house was built among the rocks, great video.

Hi Shaun, great video again and beautiful underwater shots 👌. Lamorna is such a pretty cove isn't it 💞. I actually found you pop up in my playlists when I was watching 'Cornish Walking Trails' with Sarah and Andrew. I'm a keen walker and love a circular...which they do well. I'm also a huge fan of the sea and just find it fascinating. I can swim quite well as I used to be a lifeguard and can snorkel ok, but have always struggled to dive down and equalise...my ears just won't pop 😱. So to watch others like yourself getting down there and seeing that amazing world is a joy for me 😁. I'm gradually making my way through all your videos and enjoying them so much...cheers Shaun 🏊🏄🐟🌅👌

Hi Shaun, Great vid yet again 😎, loved those underwater shots but you're a braver man than I doing those deep dives on your own 😨 I saw Lamora cove as I went past it on the way to the Isles of Scilly last Wednesday (Great day out, crystal clear waters👍🏻) Managed to get some snorkelling in at Swanpool although it was a bit choppy and the visibility wasn't the best but had a great few days in Cornwall

Fab episode thank you. Loved the free-dive footage, I can feel myself there. Would love you to go back with someone and have a proper go at getting down further - I would have presume it was a lobster pot marker but I presume it didn't look like that to you?

Underwater shots were on point Shaun, The straps may be abit fiddly but you definitely can Replace them👍 the amount of underwater life from Fish to The Seaweed is amazing where we live, and the water clarity this year has been some of the best so far, great video As always FirstLight

@@LoveSundays Just a Quick Little Video Idea, I know many people can't handle waking up early and there not a morning person at all, But if you are one of those people the sunrises are getting later and later and they are coming up to 7am now, not the summer sunrises at 4:30 am, so if your up for that you should totally go and Make a Sunrise video some time, I mean you don't have to but it's just a recommendation from me 😆

@@LoveSundays i was watching it this morning mate, if you wait for a day where its fully sunshine, no cloud and the vision is "very good" or "good" you will have yourself a nice sunrise, maenporth would be a good spot

Very good Shaun not been snorkeling down lamorna for a couple of years but its a great place to go to. I tend to use a (smb) surface marker bouy when i think there going to be some boat traffic around but are a pain when diving down. That marker bouy might be for a string of crab pots. Look forward to your next adventure. 👍

It seemed to work well when I detached the float but when you’ve got your car key inside it’s worrying that it might float away and I’d get stranded there 😂

Lovely video, Shaun - I'm in awe of how you manage to hold your breath for so long when you dive down, I get panicky as hell after about 3 seconds :D Fab underwater shots too. I really like Lamorna, haven't been for years.

I guess it just takes time to get to a stage where you can hold your breath for a period of time. I read somewhere that Lamorna cove was for sale for £1.5 million
