I'm waiting on Horizon to ship my infraction for a month and a half now, but I'm getting ready to do this with my limitless. I'm aiming much lower with 120mph as my initial goal and work up from there as I get more comfortable. Love the videos and get great insight from them, and digging back to you're early videos, I like your channel because I too stayed at Indy Park apartments in Blairsville haha

@@InnovationRC 150 is the benchmark of craziness! Btw, I've always wanted to get to 150. But it requires a lot of hard work and resources. Saved up for xlx2 until I've seen the recent issues. So I'm having it on hold temporarily 😂. So good to have channels like yours. I learn a lot! I gotta gather as much info as I can to avoid mess-ups. This hobby ain't cheap 😂

Are you running 6awg wire? Also you could run an arrma gp6 14t input shafts and youll pick up a few mph. Cheap upgrade.

The reason why the gnss pass gps is faster is because it communicates with satellites much faster than the dynamite GPS, it is completely accurate, unlike the dynamite.

Agreed. I think it goes in this order from fastest to slowest. Gnss module, Skyrc gps, dynamite gps. I've ran dynamite and it took forever to refresh. I don't use it anymore though

The difference between the GPS systems is not that the GNSS reads too high, it's that it's faster to refresh, so the speed it reads is correct, it's just the system you are using is slower to update so you have to hold it for longer to record the same speed. I am using both systems, prefer the app based system now, it is much much faster to refresh.

Very nice!!! I'm trying to hit 125 with a 1/14 scale twin brushless motor build. I'm new to speed runs, do you have any tips to get the most from a setup?

Woah that's pretty cool! Twin motor may have a lot of power but you need to slowly put it down. With a body I'd suggest running the most amount of downforce possible to get traction. Especially with a small vehicle. Go slow and build up. Be safe!

@@InnovationRC my 1st test runs went ok, 51mph on 2s, but at 59mph on 3s the plastic spur gear stripped every tooth. I think it has maybe 80mph on this setup. I saw someone run a 22 tooth pinion, and 24 tooth spur with no problem. My motors barely get warm, do you think I could run it 24 pinion, 22 spur, I'm thinking(hoping) gearing will be this cars strong point. I have a splitter tilted slightly down, and I have the wing slightly tilted down in front as well. Is this right?

@@RCOverKill definitely install metal gears all around. Before you gear up, get full throttle firstly and go from there. Yes you are correct regarding the aero

Thanks man! There are NO assists in Spartan. I'm using a Futaba remote so no avc, and the data log proves my trigger pull isn't perfectly linear from pp. I wanted spartan to be successful without that stuff! Although it'll help further.

Wow! I did not know that the typhon 6s could do almost 100 with some minor upgrades. Box stock with the 18t pinion gear I did 64 and with the stock tires and 20t pinion I got 74. Going to have to get to hooks for my typhon, and if Trevor got that 99mph pass, does that mean with some minor upgrades, the typhon is a felony and xo1 killer? What do you think innovation?

I’m hoping to actually hit 100mph today. All I’ve done since that last run is remove the rpm front bumper and put some fresh tires. That 99mph run was on slightly worn tires.

Are you able to go back down a tooth and increase the tire size? Not a huge tire, you should get more MPH with a 1/4" larger tire (little of 6mm taller). 1/4" should = about 1.6 MPH with that gearing. That won't draw more amps than the gear change, them foam tires rotating mass is likely less than the taller gear but I'm guessing on that one.

why just make it a twin motor, with more rpm?,(BATMOBILE) needs more tune- up to break (215 mph) superhero car always think like (SCIENCE) always find a way to make it (faster) has ever before, nice testing.

I don't understand why people think you need two motors. Yes it looks good. And sure it'll have a crazy amount of power. But the 202 mph record was set on a single motor and serious aerodynamics. Of course everything was custom built. But still. It also won't be more rpm if I ran two motors, only twice the torque and half the amps. It would be very dangerous too quick of a trigger pull will definitely break traction loose. But. It is still something to look into, if I were to have a twin motor vehicle it wouldn't be called batmobile I'd have to think of something different 😊😉
