So good. Had to keep looking at the cams hanging from the harness in that last section to really get an idea of how steep it is. Brutal. Mason is such a legend for these lines! PS: Pete is obviously a Toyota diesel. Not built for speed, but good luck ever stopping it.

If you put a clip on the harness like an inside out wiregate carabiner, so the draw can be pulled out but doesn't just fall from its own weight, this quick draw thing might work.

not neccessarily relevat to this video, but how much crack/jamming does there have to be on a route for it to be a 'crack' climb? obvs there's no rule to it, but if there's a route with a couple places to jam, it's not a crack climb, just a route with some crack features. silence isn't a crack climb, just a route with some cracks, same with super 'crack'inette. maybe, tbh probably, doesn't even matter but thoughtn i'd see what people think.

Re the quick draw: About 40 years ago I would sort all the pro I was going to need for the redpoint, and attach them to draws clipped into my rope in order, then clip the other biner on the side of my body corresponding to the hand I would use to insert them into the slot/crack: This way there is only a single motion to unclip the outermost biner, with attached cam/nut and slot that into the crack. The same idea also works when climbing on fixed bolts which have no draws on them, the main problem is usually just reaching the bolt hanger.

I absolutely love the directions you guys have taken with the music. The piano soundtrack fits tremendously well and is a breath of fresh air compared to the big loud upbeat music we usually find in climbing content.
