its actually funny how you think these videos are too simple or boring for your fans but I honestly love each and every one of them and I believe I'm not just talking for myself here XD Joey talking outta his a$$ for 13 mins is the best thing ever, whos with me. oh yeah more videos in Japanese pls XD peace ma dude
He'll probably just say "No" and move on. Instead you should've worded it like so: "Put your hair up in a bun/ponytail for me". Then he'll do it guaranteed!
Celza Yamuto watch the 2 first minutes of the video before commenting dumbass, he wants to keep the series fresh and new, making an AMS every week would become stale.
Funny story, my grandmother is a big fan of shows such as Game of Thrones, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Deadwood, Westworld, Narcos, etc. I have watched Death Note, Attack on Titan, and Cowboy Bebop with her. She loved them all, and she also is currently watching RWBY with me. She loves that a lot as well.
Caleb Dziepak I have a feeling I may not see my grandmother again before she passes as we live in different states and her health is like a yo-yo as of recent...but she tries hard to take care of herself so who know, she may live much longer than my fears are bracing for. Anyways...my grandmother absolutely loves basketball (she lives in Chicago and loves the Bulls) and South Park. I think I could certainly get her into anime if I were there with her as she respects the medium. However, I would go with the Ghibli movies or show her Wolf Children. I think she'd really love Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle or Ponyo (though those last two deal with aging characters and I don't want to inadvertently remind her of her age, lol.) I'm sure she'd be enthralled with Wolf Children though.
@Asdqnbkr That's very sweet of you to say. Yes, she introduced me to some of my favorite movies (Godfather, Good fellas, Pulp Fiction, Elephant Man, No Country For Old Men, many others), so I decided to introduce her to anime. Technically though, her first experiences with anime were the Miyazaki movies, and Avatar, that my cousin and I would watch. But I had never watched one with her as I had with Game of Thrones. I actually just watched Your Name with her, and she almost cried in the same spots I almost did.
@Fluffymiyster I hope things get better soon and you can see her. Yes, she has seen some of the Miyazaki movies since my cousin and I have been watching them since we were little. Your Name might also be a good one. I just saw it with her, and she loved it. Maybe you could watch Kuroko with her lol. BTW my grandma loves South Park too.
Caleb Dziepak Okay, the idea of me and my grandmother watching Kuroko no Basuke is frickin' hilarious! Oh my god, I need to try that if I can get some time off work to go see her :)
yeah but not all the subscribers are active and not all the active subscribers ask questions and the ones that asked a question are divided on twitter and RU-vid so you've a high chance of getting picked
Trim Prism I'm currently learning Japanese in High School and I can tell you that you do read the name with the 'u', the "first" name is separated into three sound (ki, zu, na) and the "last" name just goes by Ai. Hopefully, this helps you to understand the pronunciation of the name better. If you're still confused of how to pronounce the name then just go to google translate and type in the name, it does a great job at pronouncing your stuff. (:
Very fun to watch! I often prefer fast paced videos like these over videos that drag on for over 20 minutes. (Same reason why I hate reaction videos even though I want to make a reaction video myself since I do believe I'm reaction video material and I'm pretty keen on useless details on the visuals/special effects of anime LOL)
#AnswerMeSenpai Have you seen the Avatar franchise (the nickelodeon show, not the James Cameron blue people) and/or RWBY? Not asking you to get into whether or not they are anime, just want to know if you've seen them, and what you think of them. (I personally consider them anime)
#AnswerMeSenpai Hey Joey, have you noticed that the anime industry is running out of things to adapt? First it was manga, then light novels, then visual novels, and now they are adapting webcomics. (its cool that webcomics are getting adaptions though) My question to you is: should anime start focusing more on being its own thing rather than just adapting already existing things?
ReboyGTR It's a good thing you didn't say his name, or else your comment would be automatically held for review AKA no one else will be able to see your comment.
#AnswerMeSenpai Could you try to say this tongue twister? Betty bought some bitter butter but bought some better butter to make the bitter butter better.
I know another version of it Betty bought some butter but the butter was bitter so betty bought some better butter and the better butter was better than betty bought before
Joey, My man. If you answer soooo many questions at one's like you would die the next moment. It's killing the joy out of it. Take it slow... breath, though I must say that's impressive to answer 100 in one shot. 👏 I know you don't have much free time these days, but no one does when you grow older and don't fit in college anymore 😛.
honestly this is the best Q&A I've ever watched, like it was actually hilarious! I'm impressed you got that many questions done in such a short time xD
Mako The Weeb Boy Wonder, Omg don't even get me started. I literally read so many. I am reading egnoid rn, can't wait for the next ep. I recommend lookism and wind breaker. Those are 2 of my faves.
I mostly read shoujo/Romance so -I Love Yoo (love triangle, goodshit) -Orange Marmalade (vampire, modern) -Siren’s Lament (Mystery, Mermaids) Some Yaoi/Shounen Ai -Window beyond window (2 bffs) -King’s Maker -How to raise a bat (another vampire, dramatic, alot of blood) Pls recommend me some too!! Any genre with a good story and great characters thanks
French Pelayo omg!!!!! I love I Love Yoo and Siren's Lament!!! Here are my personal suggestions to you based off of what you like: - Lumine: an adorable fluffy wolf boy who's job is to protect this other adorable but moody boy w a tragic backstory. the wolf is such a cinnamon roll and i really ship the two boys together even if it's not cannon (yet??) - My Boo: literally one of the most romantic and emotional webtoons I've ever read. a must read. i won't spoil things but trust me this one is great. it's already ended too so you can binge it. - Big Jo: a super funny and positive story about loving your body and that fat does not equal ugly. its also a romance where three different guys like the main character. the main character is my ROLE MODEL. she is absolute queen
Your manga at 8:39 was Reiraku from Inio Asano (for those who can't read Kanji just like me) And also a challenge: put the video on dubble speed and try to follow Joey ; )
I love #AnswerMeSenpai! It doesn't matter to me how you do it, they're all super entertaining. My favorite one so far was probably the one with CrankGameplays. Not sure why. It's just the one that always comes to mind.
That yandere sim roast was so refreshing. Tho I do want to know why specifically Joey dislikes it. It’s it bc the dev has done a lot of sketchy shit? Or is it how pretentious the dev is about a game where panty shots are currency? There’s a lot of reasons to hate the game lol
I don't know if I got this down correctly, but: Kamijou Ikuru => かみじょういくる => かみ じょうい くる => 神 Joey 来る Or is it just me? No? Somebody please tell me if they got the same, or if they got any answer at all.
Damm fam! Nice theory right there. The Japanese are correct, 神 means god, 来る means to come (to a place) so it basically means that "God" Joey is coming lol
#answermesenpai Have u seen owari no seraph and if yes, then do u know if there is going to be a season 3 cuz I can’t find anything useful online. Love u btw
#answermesenpai Im generally new to this channel. I started watching because of seeing you in one of lost pause's older videos and dude, Im gonna keep watching. I will probably end up watching all of your videos by the end of next year. I have way too much time on my hands.
#answermesenpai love your videos, seriously, it makes my days easier when I watch these in the morning. Keep doing what you do on this, and good luck with life. By making these entertaining videos it makes some people's lives way easier. Anyway I'm learning Japanese currently, any tips or advice you may give???
So, #AnswerMeSenpai - Hayate the Combat Butler. If you've seen it and/or read it, what do you think about the fact that the one arc that was good was never animated?
#AnswerMeSenpai what anime should I watch? Among a couple dozen others, I've seen Lucky Star (9229/10 would recommend), and the basics like Death Note. I like watching shorter series (someday I'll tackle One Piece...)
#AnswerMeSenpai For a guy who is very (and I mean VERY) new to the anime/manga community, is this a good list of anime/manga to start me off? 1. Tokyo Ghoul/Tokyo Ghoul:re 2. My Hero Academia/Illegals 3. Naruto/Shippuden 4. Death Note 5. Attack On Titan 6. One Piece 7. One Punch Man
#AnswerMeSenpai I claim to love anime but I'm probably the pickiest when it comes to choosing anime to watch, thus making me familiar with only an EXTREMELY SMALL number of anime, therefore making me a casual. What do you think of casual anime fans?
11:56 I sent that to Joey remembering he didn't like ERASED ending but I didn't remember why. A month later I saw his video explaining it then I kinda agreed and forgot all about my question to him. I loved his response in this video.
