My name made it onto your video. Christmas Tree Hill is brutal. The second to last climb is the worst. I remember getting a KOM back in 2016 absolutely brutal!
Now coast back down and do 8x repeats, ahah. That would be a tough training day for the week training schedule, but you'd be beast after a few weeks. Both of you pushed that segment.
While I enjoyed the heck out of Jackson's stupendous effort, and this super steep hill climb doesn't imply much conferred benefit, _you just fully documented a motorized vehicle-assisted KOM._
My thought too, there were at least a few seconds gained through drafting the car in different sections. Voluntary or not, enough for this effort to be flagged.
So, I've ridden the Mortirolo and the Zoncolan.. They make this look like a picnic. Every time I looked down at my device it was reading in the 20% s..!! for 8 or 9 kilometers!

Wow. Amazing climb and I still think he could have cut another 20 seconds just pacing better. Seemed to waste some of the suprathreshold effort early on despite his stated strategy.
Its always amaze me how flat these hill climbs looks on camera. I have a hill that i hate. Tried to film it once. And on camera it looks like im riding on a perfectly flat road. Sweating and swearing along the way.
