It's said that Finnish is a difficult language for English speakers to learn, let's see how much I've accomplished in 65 days of using Duolingo! I'm off to go bake some korvapuustit, nam! SUBSCRIBE!
We sometimes say in Finnish along the lines of: "Sinä olet kyllä aika velho" = "You are really quite a wizard" to denote that somebody is really great at something, especially computer stuff.
On aina mukava nähdä näin suomalaisena, kun joku haluaa opetella tätä meidän melko erilaista kieltä :D Tsemppiä opiskeluun, jos vielä jatkat! Olit jo hyvin päässyt tässä videossa liikkeelle 👍🏼
I started usimg duo when you briefly mentioned it a few videos back, thank you! Love your videos and the randomness of it. Oh and yes, I've cleaned my house with you 😂
13:27 In this case the you is plural or the formal singular you. Latter is been phased out as many consider it impolite as either you consider the other higher rank or status (which Finns dislike) or older.
Those of you who have tried both: Which one is better for Finnish, Duolingo or Speakly? I'm a Finn myself but would like to know which one can be recommended out of these two fairly similar apps.
I took a break for a bit after finishing the Duolingo course and am just learning super casually now. So I suck at grammar but am building my vocabulary.
😂 I recognize many, vitamin, fruit, fresh, juice. What can it mean?! Without looking it up, I don't know seka or purkki. Maybe fresh fruit juice with added vitamins?
@@AgedblueBunny true 🥲i read somewhere that duolingo finnish course was created by group of finnish volunteers, not by duolingo itself. They planned to make an update but unfortunately there’ll be no update… :(
