TC 24 he always leaves his trips on cliffhangers, and he said “we should prolly get the net ready” he obviously brought a bet if he’s going salmon fishing and muskie fishing
AP launches his boat in Chicago, travels across lake Michigan, comes back 4 days later, his truck is on blocks with no doors and no engine and no interior. Lol. 😂
Norm Hiscock yes , I’m sure you assumed that because he blantantly stated that in his statement. Quit making everything about race , your apart of the problem.
Who else didn’t know how long the vid was, and when he had the fish on... cuts frame, I was ready!!!! Let’s go peric!! can’t wait for the next video! be safe on Michigan! Great Lakes are treacherous waters!!!!!
Love the new Lund and Mercury! What a beautiful new boat - looks like it handled the small craft advisory water like a champ, even if y'all got tossed around a bit.
Was like another boat and tackle promotion, awww man... But... this video was amazing and this is the first RU-vid channel that made me hit the bell cause now I'm hooked!! Two thumbs up!!
what a great idea!!!! i hope you have a great time, i hope you post lots of (longer) videos. you are living the dream. good for you, man. i'm gonna pray for you to have a safe and good time.
Love the videos AP!!! Just got some googan lures and the AP box in the mail. Love your choice in baits and jigs, your work really shows on all your products. Keep doing what you do, can't wait for more!
That is AWESOME!! Same thing happened earlier this week, new setup/spot/lure and boom, caught a nice 3 pounds 9 ounces perch! For Lake Saint-Louis here in Canada its a big one! Awesome video has always!!
Seen my man workin for/with/whatever googan and never been to his channel. Saw this video and just clicked it out of curiosity wanting to see a boat that size in big water. 15 seconds in I was like, hey its.. that guy...!! watched the whole video, got excited when he went he hooked up and really?? cliff hanger?! Thats awesome bro, keep it up Alex P.!! def gonna follow and keep watching!!
The most akward/funny cast Peric has ever made in his lifetime. 5:30 LOL! Understandably he's distraught about losing his favorite-long relationship hat (of 2 years) in the blink of an eye. We've all had that old dirty hat or shirt that fits so well. You grow a strange fondness to it. Unfortunately, many of these love affairs are abruptly ended. I've been there and feel your pain brother. This Lake Michigan adventure your going on has got me intrigued friend!
I live on the southeast coast, everything about this is totally alien. The boat style, the gear, and the massive amounts of fresh water are just totally ambiguous to us. Having a boat without rod holders is just unheard of as well.
My uncle and i always put in at north point, my grandfather's boat that my uncle fixed up we kept right down the street at state line storage. We always targeted coho, never fished the near the banks. Brings back some good memories.
The last twenty years? The cluelessness of the younger? Epic. What are you doing on awesome water in a decent small boat without rod holders?! I grew up hearing and learning what the past and my elder’s context could teach me. That was normal. It was respectful. ‘Back in the day,’ spoken by a younger, is a polite but disrespectful means of saying, “other people not the same age as myself are no longer relevant.” For example, I remember “back in the day” a 1/4 tank of gas on big water meant you went and got fuel like NOW! Because you knew the safety parameters and how at risk we are.
I used to work all of those marinas and I'm super jealous I didn't get to see you! Worked at Northpoint in Winthrop Harbor, Southpoint in Pleasant Prarie, Southshore in Kenosha, Reefpoint in Racine, McKinley in Milwaukee.
Dude, epic editing. I was really getting into it when you hooked up on a fish and left me hanging. Perfect. Guarantees I'll be waiting for the notification bell on the next one.
The very first of the video you said you fished Dale hollow once and it was pretty tuff. I live 8 minutes away from Dale hollow and it is tuff for sure. The majority of the locals fish at night over grass in 15 to 30 ft of water from June through August. Anyway, huge fan. Hope you can make it back out here to hook up on some of our famous smallmouth. Tight lines
Think of the Great Lakes like a Highway. The Speeder Boats, Pontoon Boats, and other Recreational vessels are like the Cars of the Lakes. Jet Skis are like the Motor Cycles. Fishing Boats and medium sized vessels are like Light Trucks or Vans. Finally, the Large Lakeboats & Ore Freighters are the Semi-Trucks of the lakes, delivering Cargo and much needed resources.
No rod holder salmon fishing is a challenge video in of itself 😂 awesome video also get a snubber for your dipsy diver, spencer forgot to tell you about that
Looks like a fun trip, if a bit intimidating. I've fished all over Lake Michigan but my favorite spot is Door County. If you're lucky you might still find spawning smallies up on the north end of the peninsula this late in the year. Nothing like sight fishing smallmouth in 18' of water & seeing every pebble on the bottom. If you plan to keep salmon fishing, stop by a Cabelas somewhere & get some of their rod holders (they're virtually the same as the Scottys and cheaper). They will hold up to a big king or rainbow on a dipsy rod (we use our muskie rods for dipsys, just switch out reels since we only salmon fish a couple times a year)
Don’t know if people realize how insane this actually is. Especially with some people just dying outside the break water of Michigan. Great vid keep it up! Be safe!
Looks like you are having fun again. Welcome back to the adventure. I was sad when your NP hat blew off. Shit has to happen, to make the rest of the trip awesome!!-)
