Three weeks ago Balenciaga asked me to attend their New York show as an American icon... So I went as Dolly Parton. This is how the last three weeks went. A special thanks to Balenciaga

Dolly would totally be into this!!! She has said she loves when drag queens dress up as her. She's even been to shows to see Dolly impersonators I love her saying "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap!" Lmao

Not as flawless as the Mrs. Doubtfire, but still so much effort and talent went into this, it's still iconic.

What you mean not as flawless? Mrs. Doubtfire is not a real person & is an old granny type character which makes the prosthetics easier to be believable. This is as flawless as it gets, hun. THE Neil Gorton studios made the prosthetics. THIS IS PERFECTION.

@@meows7229 I said what I said.. and it was with no disrespect, so in the words of Kidzbop Karen, calm down. They are BEYOND talented, like the sculptors at Tussauds, but even some of the celebs they recreate don't come out "perfect" while others do, even when the casting was literally done on the celebrity.. It has nothing to do with lack of talent, just limitations and unpredictable variables. From a distance people might think she's Dolly, but when you couple the fact that she isn't 6'7" with the way her face looks from within 15 ft., the illusion disappears.. and that's on Jane Fonda. Mrs. Doubtfire, while she's a character, she's still a physical entity that we recognize as both the same as yet concurrently separate to Robin Williams. The fact that Alexis not only looked like Robin William's AS Mrs. Doubtfire, but also was able to imitate her voice? That was perfection.. 🤷‍♀️

@@Satrina777 Yeah and what you said is absolutely meaningless. Mrs. Doubtfire is basically a guy wearing prostetics, so easier to nail. Of course when trying to look like a real person, prostetics will always look like protestics.

This is so much what I would love to do - not just as Dolly but as several others including some of my own creations. You're very fortunate to have these tools, skills, products, people, etc. at your disposal. I'm envious but in a good way. :) Thank you for sharing the BTS with all of us. So very intriguing and fun to watch!

The Dolly was a little scary and less warm for me- I love his work but this maybe needed more warmth in the choice of outfit or makeup- also Dolly's face is more round that long/rectangular.
