Hey John, I’m really sorry to hear about your friends man. You’re right though, we need to stay positive! As far as the pipe goes, it should fit the mtxl no problem. I’ve got a Victory intended for the 5ive platform on my mtxl and it fits beautifully. The stinger ends a little high put I just added a silicone coupling and a nice short piece of stainless tube with a 45 degree cut on it. Actually looks pretty cool and sounds great! I also have installed a Big bore victory pipe on my old DBXL that my good friend Big Al bought not sure if you remember that old video? I also have installed a XP LOSI 5T platform Bartolone pipe on a MTXL in the passed before he came out with the MTXL pipe and End Bleed 5B Pipe So I’m praying that this new 45 cc Rovan and especially BROVAN ReedCase engine pipe for LOSI 5T platforms will work on the MTXL!! The concerns I have at the moment is that it’s a longer and slightly bigger pipe compared to the Bartolone pipes that’s been out already for normal size heads
BOTAJELL I’m just figuring that if my setup that was supposed to be for that platform worked, the way he made his fit the same platform should pretty much layout the same way? I dunno 🤷🏻♂️, guess we’ll see😉. Maybe I’ll run 100:1 once I’m finished with my upgrades 😉😉😉

Yeah that velocity stack is the 3/4" stack that DDM sales. It wont work on a 1107 because the choke cant open with it. On their site they even say you have to drill it out for it to work with the 1107. They also sell a 1" version with the larger opening, similar to the Bartolone stack. Stay safe up there John.
I have it and use it on my 1107 works awesome! You just got to grind the edge on it NO drilling what’s so ever . If you don’t have a grinder? You can use a file that’s round !!
Let’s Do somthing R/C if you want a much better velocity stack then the regular AF310 stack ? You can most definitely upgrade to a Bartolone velocity stack that I will be showing on my next video that I will post tonight on your 30.5 but it also costs more money then the AF310 . I use the Dominator oil now for everything 2stroke engine that I own now and anything I get new from day one of the life of the engine! If you want the best ? That’s the best! Especially for racing or high rpm engines but I will even use it on my low rpm stuff also because I can ! Have a great day 👍💥🤝💥👊
I was running my 45cc and stock carburetor tuning and it just shut off after about 10 mins. now I can't get it to restart at all even after a fresh spark plug... any ideas??

Hallo Byebye I have past videos on how I start my engines that you can look at but just make sure your fuel system is good like good fuel lines and always use a full force high flow fuel set up like there brass set up like this www.davesmotors.com/Full-Force-RC-v2-High-Flow-Fuel-Line-Kit-for-HPI-Baja-5B-5T-5SC-Losi-5ive-5B004X.html or one with a 3rd line so you can run a vent line ! Then make sure your carburetor is lined up properly and gaskets line up because there are holes 🕳 in the gaskets that’s must line up with each other or your engine will never start and make sure your carburetor is torqued down to 65 inch lbs! Then make sure you have a good spark plug and that your coil is gapped properly with this tool www.davesmotors.com/3330-97310-Zenoah-Flywheel-Air-Gap-Gauge-Tool.html Then prime your bulb real good don’t be afraid to over prime it then pull on your pull cord to turn engine over slowly just to move your piston up and down for at least 5 times then get ready to pull quickly but short pulls so grab your pull cord and get it ready to grab then once you feel it grab just pull but not long pulls like a mower it must be short throws but effective ! You will get the hang of it after you do it many times and I always do it this way but I also blip my trigger on remote a little also just so that the carb opens up just a little so it can let some air in and once it starts I brap it a bit so the engine can warm up and be ready
Hey John, I have had a rovan lt360 for 2 months now (the exact same as KM and Losi you already know) and I have noticed that my throttle servo gets incredibly hot till it burns you finger if you touch it after just 15 mins runs. After 2 months I just discovered that this might be a design flaw in all this platforms due to the flow direction of the hot air from the engine that is pointing towards the thrtt servo (you can check this out easily just by placing your hand in the servo while the engine is idling) My question is, have you or someone else ever had an issue with this? This cant be good, the servo is going to melt!
Hey. Adjust your endpoints on your servo. It won't be getting hot from nearby air, it will be working to hard trying to pull or push past what your throttle linkage will allow.
@@eaxnitro It is not that, it was the air coming from the engine, I had to make a shield for it so the air is directed to the side and not to the servo.

I’m also a big fan of OBR and I own multiple of there engines but I just want to let you know that pipe will not work on a ROVAN 45 cc engine! This New Bartolone Pipe is made just for the ROVAN 45 CC engine that is used on all the LOSI 5T 2.0, 1.0, & ROVAN LT, & KING MOTOR X2 RC’s Platforms ! Hopefully it will also work on the MTXL as well !!! Bartolone also makes 2 other pipes that will work on all these platforms but they will NOT work on the 45cc engines like this new pipe I show in this video. The reed 45cc engine should have been balanced if it's vibrating so much. When you talk about the pipe fitting the LT does that mean it will fit the Rovan SLT ?
It’s going to fit all LT , X2, 5T, 5T 2.0 chassis!!! and possibly even the MTXL aswell? It will work on stock 45 piston port but will work best on new modified ReedCase BART/ROVAN Engine.

Ringo Gingo if you already have a rovan 45 in your SLT ? You will be able to swap it out and upgrade to the BROVAN 45 ReedCase Engine no problems but you will not be able to use the New 5T , X2, and LT BR45 Pipe ! You will also have to adjust your linkage because the ReedCase 45 engine is Happy to see you the carburetor will be sticking out further and that’s a very easy thing to do and you can reuse whatever pipe your using now on your 45 SLT

@@BOTAJELL bet it would rip in a normal sized Baja tho. I did a 340 cylinder reed using area rc cylinder reed since there's so many naysayers about them. It worked very well. I did a good bit of machining tho to the piston and cylinder.
2 strokin' lol 😂 I understand but it’s my fault that he’s spending time on coming out with pipes for that engine and even improving that engine like coming out with his modified ReedCase version of it . I have been hounding him for the longest time on this and he finally did it and to be honest it’s working out very well we are both shocked with outcome on things and it’s very reliable aswell !

I have the LT 450 LOSI 2.0 45CC Clone Roven motor you Peg that throttle with that pipe that I have it just opens up sideways hard to control even with my four-wheel drive capabilities it just screams sideways I upgraded Center diff 2948 tooth it just screams next time going to upgrade carburetor but to control a 35-pound vehicle and launched in the air and land perfect is incredible I mean a 35-pound vehicle 1/5 scale nothing but smiles Peg the powerband coming sideways to a house near you incredible I have nothing but fun I wanted to break so I can tell the wife I have an excuse😂😂 but it's just wanting more ever since changing to full synthetic two-stroke it's just a beast I used to run synthetic blend total different machine because of you my machine is running top notch I love your videos because of you I had to buy this and I'm having a blast I want to do the upgrades but my wife told me if it breaks fix it I'm trying to break it😂😂 but it just wants more😂😂 45cc with that pipe velocity stack is a beast I can barely control it as it is I need to upgrade the stock tires I'm probably going with the wastelands just so I can control anyways thank you for your time and patience with these videos because you're helping out guys like us BRAAAP LIFE. 🛻 💨
Well it seems clones are making this hobby cheaper because it won’t be a Rovan after your done with it will be called a custom because of the aftermarket better parts he’ll you can stick a 80cc motor to this bitch and a reverse gearing aswel shit I am pissed right now I ordered two baja 5b Rovans but now i want a clone to customise it to not be a clone
