I have never had a good experience with a Harley Dealership service department. Every time that I let them work on my bike it has gone back usually for piss poor workmanship and trying to cut corners.
If I put an exhaust system on a Pan America, do I need to reflash the ECM? Is the FXR the greatest Harley ever made? What bolt in cam do you recommend for an Evo? Is it true if you don't use it, you lose it?
Where can I get a replacement nut that holds the jiffy stand on? Springs are everywhere, but I just need the nut/washer. Only ones I found were the entire jiffy stand replacement. Thank you to anyone who can help.
pull the pin out and take it to the hardware store, replace it with a Grade 8 nut/washer you'll be all good. If you want chrome to match how it originally was than try Colony. They sell about every replacement hardware piece for harleys possible
Unfortunately this is either a case of 3 dudes justifying crap service and a crap product. Or they sincerely don't know about metric brands , the service costs and base performance that is achieved by the other manufacturers. Harley refuses to update and innovate their product, and dealership identity as a result, sales have declined and will continue to . Grew up in Wisconsin with LOTS of Harleys in the family and friends bikes. It is sad to see the brand go the way it has gone.
