Attention shifts to Chad Daybell's death penalty trial after Lori sentenced to life in prison 

It's disgusting to me that a case like this would take 4 years to come to an end.

For anyone wondering why Lori did not get the death penalty it had to do with an unfortunate technicality. On the prosecution side. During one of the interviews they didn't give her rights. Her legal team jumped on that and then the judge overturn the death penalty due to that technicality. So if it wasn't for the prosecution screwing up she would have the death penalty. There's no conspiracy here

The only reason Chin Dumbbell didn't try to plead, is because he thinks that his kids will get him out of being sentenced to die. If he's going to end up with life without parole, he may as well take his little "field trips" to the courthouse each day and get some fresh air and see the sights. Once he's back in prison to begin serving out his life sentence, his next time OUT is in a BOX........

Prosecution failed to read her rights about some portion of her pre-trial so they took the death penalty off the books. Personally sitting in a 12x12 room with no choices of food, clothes, reading materials, or people you are around would be a kind of death. Whatever makes them suffer their sins most is OK with me.

The thought processes of crazy people like Chad and Lori are mind blowing.

And Arizona has issued an arrest warrant for Lori for the charges involving Brandon Boudreau, and are in the process of getting her extradited to face the music there

Lori will absolutely be demolished by the other inmates

Why didn’t she get the death penalty?

It is strange that the death penalty is on the table for Chad Daybell but not for his wife. Regardless, she will spend the rest of her life in prison. Clearly our justice system isn’t perfect. But I don’t feel we’ve been let down in this case. These two don’t belong in a civilized society, and they never will again. That’s a silver lining.

Why is his a death penalty case and hers not? gender bias? Similarly, The lead in crime Elizabeth holmes gets 3 years prison but the man who was the second lead or side character gets 13 years in prison.. Should it not be more for the lead if not the same at least?

Chad Daybell is more responsible than Lori, imo. I do believe he deserves the death penalty but I'm glad Lori has life in prison instead. Lori's father is a diagnosed schizophrenic. Lori sister Staci was clearly schizophrenic. Charles was twenty years older, and traveled for his work, and Lori's children were 10 and 16, and she finally had some free time. Lori did not want to adopt JJ, and the story that's been told in the public is not accurate according to her friends and relatives in the Inner Circle. I have massive hours of recorded conversations with. Within one year of adopting j.j. Lori became delusional. Schizophrenia as well as other diseases can be unlocked from the DNA in times of trauma & stress and having an autistic drug baby that she was not attached to and did not want to raise but was being forced to by her husband and his domineering sister literally unlock that schizophrenia. Because she was pretty and Charles made a lot of money she was able to still get by until she met Chad. For 5 years before she went off the deep and she was showing signs of schizophrenia. Also possibly a sociopath anyways, but Chad really took advantage of that situation as Chad's friends told me that he said the same thing to every woman that she was the wife of Moroni in a past life, and it wasn't cheating if they were to go out with him excetera Chad is a player even though he looks like a baby-faced Potato Head lumpy dump he's a player. The woman is extremely mentally ill. I won't point out that I have 650 pages of accurate information 10 full accurate with relatives that I solved this case for months before law enforcement in April the FBI were asking the public for help still and Rob wood in April 2020 with her actually asking the woodcocks for every single thing I ever sent so for him to go into court and imply in any way that did not help. I cannot wait to hear the evidence, to hopefully bridge some gaps in this horrific case. I Pray the outcome is at the bare minimal, what his co-defendant got. I am so happy the families will never, ever have to fight again for their loved ones at parole hearings. Now...to release the bodies of the children so they can be laid to rest properly. I am sure that will not happen until after Chad's trial 😢

Poor JJ had bruises and scratches. He was trying to fight for his life as she had the plastic bag over his head. Gasping for air. Ducted taped. Helpless. My God he’s not even mine and it’s haunting me. There’s a special place in hell for these two. Tylee’s cause of death is not even known. God only knows what those two did.

My emotional brain wants these monsters to suffer horribly for what they have done, but my logical brain understands that we live in a deterministic world, and it is not the fault of monsters, that they are what they are. The question then becomes: How do we prevent future monsters, from acting out? Did the brutal punishments of the Nuremberg trials really change anything in the world? What will deter such clumsy psychopaths as the Daybells? Perhaps someday we will all have robot body-guards that can protect all of us from our fellow monsters. I suppose hindsight is 20-20, but I can't help thinking that if the police had not fumbled the investigation of Lori's husband's shooting, the other victims might still be alive today. The stories Alex and Lori gave to police, were so obviously conflicting, I can't see how they were not more suspicious of the self-defense claim.
