That is pretty slick indeed what a great way to take care of business. It's good you do not have a lot of weight load on the garage ceiling looks good the way you have it set up.
That metal channel looks like Unistruct. Great stuff! You can buy other lengths from industrial metal supply houses. Nice job! Smart to put the controls in the attic.
It's also made by Kindorf as Superstrut. The struts are stronger at a right angle to the platform. You have to use either right angle brackets to attach to wall or drill clearance holes in face for anchors. I don't know what you use for safety's to stop free fall. Nice overall though.
Nice Idea!! Looks like it is 24" deep and 48" wide?? I know my trusses are 24" apart and my attic is floored but hauling stuff up the ladder is a pain for sure!!
Hello Dennis, It’s been so long since I built that. I bought the channel at Home Depot, got the company’s name and contacted them directly via their webpage. It was there that I found the rollers and ordered them directly. Sorry, the name of the co is escaping me.
