i stumbled across your channel a few nights ago because i usually watch mukbang videos at night when i’m hungry, and i recognized you and honestly i was just gonna be a silent viewer but i can just feel the positivity raidiating off of you and you seem like such an awesome person and i just had the urge to tell you that lol. i’m sure other people can agree that they feel a sense of comfort when watching your content!

Just this morning I prayed to God because I was having some doubts. Then I watched your video and right after you talked about God and how God knows you are hurting there was very loud and long thunder. When you described your Mom’s memory of authentic Chinese food, we actually had a Best Wok open in our little town. It is family owned and we became friends with the owners. Their kids knew when we would call in an order. When we would go pick up our order, their children would be sitting at the table doing their homework or helping out in the restaurant. I love when you share your mom’s stories with us. Please tell your Mom thank you. ❤

Atticus - what a thoughtful and beautiful way to end your video. As a believer in Christ, I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. My cousin and I tell each other all the time that we are worthy of care. We are worthy because HE is worthy. Thank you for sharing your heart. As for the rest of your video, we sadly only have one Panda Express in the area. It’s about a 45 minute trip to get there. We also have a PF Chang‘s about 90 minutes away. Locally, we have this fabulous Vietnamese restaurant that just moved into the area. I’m not sure if you’re a fan of Vietnamese food, but this food is some of the freshest I’ve ever tasted. This ties in with your question concerning the quality of the food, depending on how busy the restaurant is. Since coming out of the pandemic, there hasn’t been a large amount of traffic at the local movie theaters. These are national chains. Because fewer people are going to the movies, I think the popcorn is at an all-time worst. It just taste stale and old. At the local Regal theater, they don’t even pop it fresh in front of you anymore. It’s already in bags and buckets and sitting in some warming unit. I missed the days of freshly popped popcorn. Just a silly observation. Have a blessed weekend.

Nice video, Atticus. Good opportunity for vicarious enjoyment. When the TV show Mash was filmed in southern California, mimicking Korea, the writers had a wide range of Korean seasonal temperatures to portray at their disposal, full gamut of bitter cold to sweltering heat. The actors, in the opinion of the writers, were demanding, always desiring more lines, a say in the plot lines, etc. When actors would be particularly demanding, during hot weather in southern California, the next episode would mysteriously be switched out of nowhere to taking place during winter in Korea, with heavy layers of clothes, people standing around fire pits in scenes. The writer said the actors never seemed to figure out the correlation and "Korean winter" kept popping up in the series for no seeming reason.

You always speak of fond memories and nostalgia… I just thought you should know that the middle is that for me… I’m from Indiana and that show really resonated with me… (the entire Midwest felt personally attacked lol) I remember sitting down every week to watch that show with my parents obviously the day after it aired so we could fast forward through commercials lol… but you have no idea how insane it is to be watching your RU-vid videos!!! I loved the middle… I miss those memories with my parents being a kid after school and after dinner we’d sit down together… ❤simple times… thank you for being a part of my childhood

Funny story. I was in China and in different provinces for 3 weeks when we adopted our daughter. We ate very little Chinese food. The buffets were american food, some rice and pot stickers and stuff but mostly american food. Surprising how many american food franchises are in China.

5:05 People love to give panda express a bad rep because its inauthentic and cheap, but I like to think of it as basically the McDonalds of Chinese food. You don't go to McDonalds expecting a high quality gourmet burger, just as you don't go to panda express expecting gourmet Chinese food. I wish more people understood this. good video btw

I absolutely agree that half the battle with panda is finding one that makes it well. Because when that Orange Chicken is crispy and fresh. 🧑‍🍳 Also people shouldn’t dog on panda. It’s not Chinese. It’s Chinese American food. It is the product of its founders. Chinese immigrants in California and thus bringing their cuisine with an American influence. I am happy to see you share Christ.

I've been suffering with depression and anxiety for a while now myself, and what's made it extra hard for me lately was my little brother lost his own battle with depression two years ago. It's been so hard to deal with that grief on top of how I was already feeling. Since that's happened though I've started building my relationship with God again. I've had lovely signs that my beautiful brother is in heaven. 💞
